RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform daily AP duties, verifying invoices and monitoring payment schedules to ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers, avoiding late payment penalties.
• Liaise with salesmen to arrange advance payments.
• Have basic knowledge of analyzing profit and loss and balance sheet reports for credit limit reviews.
• Assist in preparing payments for staff claims.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Accounts Receivable (“AR”) function covering customer data maintenance, intercompany invoice processing, prepare journal vouchers, accruals etc.
• Perform receipts and bank posting in the system accurately and promptly on all payment modes
• Ensure receipts are properly accounted and promptly updated in the system
• Ensure month-end closing able to meet company deadline
• Promptly send Statement of Accounts to customers.
• Prepare AR Aging Report and monitor aging records and follow up on overdue invoices to ensure healthy cash flows
• Promptly check and follow up on unidentified receipts
• Responsible to perform monthly intercompany reconciliation and bank reconciliation
• Liaise with customers and resolve on invoices/payments/Statement of Accounts discrepancies
• Support Year End Audit, Audit Confirmation and reconciliation
• Support Banking activities
• Attend Debts Collection Meeting
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Accountancy or Degree, fresh graduates are welcomed
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SAP experience would be an advantage
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
• Meticulous, able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
• Customer service orientated with good team work spirit.

Working Arrangements:

Work Location: 2 Bukit Merah Central, #08-01, Singapore 159835

Work Days: Mondays to Fridays

Work Hours: 8:30AM to 5:30PM

Job Scope:

• Handle general Accounting duties (issuing of cheque payments, invoices, delivery order, purchase order, bookkeeping);
• Assist in quarterly GST submission & annual corporate tax submission;
• Monthly bank reconciliation;
• Manage accounts receivables (AR);
• Provide general admin support in carpark maintenance and other related tasks;
• Attend to walk-ins and incoming calls;
• Control & Handling of stock inventory;
• Data Entry, photocopying/ scanning/ filing of documents;
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by immediate superior and the Management.

Requirements:

• Minimum “O” Level or equivalent qualification certificates
• At least 1.5 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position and must be able to carry out assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic Accounting knowledge an advantage
• Required skill(s): Proficient knowledge of using Excel or any Accounting Software.
• Ability to commence work immediately or at short notice
• Singaporean/PR/Malaysian
• Able to communicate effective in English and Chinese
