Requirements

• A degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in accounting.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Checking & Matching invoices with GRNs

· Follow up with vendors for outstanding invoices based on Dos

· Ensure there is no outstanding GRNs and invoice before month end closing

· Update invoices daily in NAV and post them after review by the Accounts Executive

· Monthly reconciliation of suppliers’ statements of account (SOA)

· Liaise with purchasers / suppliers for any discrepancies in invoicing

· Ensure all the Dos received are in order

· Preparation of monthly payments for local and overseas supplier

· Prepare staff claim

· Process creation and maintenance of vendors in system

· Update the vendor's payment in the cash book

· Answer calls from suppliers regarding payment status.

· Assist in mid-year and year end stock take

· Assist in annual fixed asset and minor asset sighting

· Assist in filling and other administrative works

· Any other ad-hoc duties required

As an Accounts Receivable Executive, you will play a crucial role as you will be responsible for managing the organization's receivables, ensuring the timely collection of payments from clients, and maintaining accurate records. This role reports to the Assistant Finance Manager and plays a vital part in maintaining healthy cash flow and financial stability.

Responsibilities:

· Generate and send accurate and timely invoices to clients.

· Ensure invoices comply with contractual terms and relevant regulations.

· Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts receivable.

· Coordinate with clients to resolve payment issues and discrepancies.

· Apply cash receipts to the appropriate customer accounts.

· Reconcile discrepancies between accounting records and customer payments.

· Assess creditworthiness of new and existing clients.

· Establish and maintain credit limits and terms.

· Generate regular reports on accounts receivable aging and cash collections.

· Provide insights to management on trends and potential risks.

Requirements:

- Min Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

- At least 2- 3 years of proven experience accounts receivable or related roles.

- Preferably from FMCG industry.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
