• Assist in the monthly closing of financial accounts
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents to address financial matters
• Prepare and reconcile accounts receivable reports to ensure accuracy
• Perform bank reconciliation and handle GST filing and submissions
• Address clients inquiries, issue invoices, and ensure timely follow-ups on outstanding payments
• Review, verify, and post receipts with precision
• Assist in financial reporting and provide support for internal audits
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by management

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounts assistant or bookkeeping role, preferably in a small practice or SME environment
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Meticulous, proactive, and self-motivated with a keen eye for details
• Familiarity with Singapore's accounting regulations and tax requirements

Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of Accounts;
• Manage month-end and year-end closing;

Key Responsibilities

• Process, verify, and manage invoices and payment cycles.

1. Management of Account Payables for Skool4Kidz

• Maintenance of account payables (AP) creditors' records, including IBG payment records
• Collation of AP from all centres
• Keying-in of AP to the GP Dynamics Financial Software
• Batching of AP for interco billing
• Batching of AP for fixed assets processing
• Batching of AP for prepayment
• Reconciliation of AP sub-ledger to general ledge
• Running of monthly AP Aging report
• Running of AP payments twice a month and also process ad-hoc payments whenever required
• Processing of AP payments via computer cheques and manual cheques

2. Performing accrual of revenue for selected centres on monthly basis

1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
2. Diploma holder with at least 5 years’ or degree with 2-3 years’ experience in the related field is required for this position
