GL

• Prepare & park monthly journal entries into SAP.
• Liaise with various department on accruals for revenue, cost & expenses.

Ad Hoc

• Assist in projects and system enhancement.
• Assist in internal & external audit requirement.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Accountancy.
• Knowledge of SAP ECC in FICO & SD module preferred.
• Preferred experience in AR/AP.
• Proficient in MS Office Application, especially Microsoft Excel.

As this is a contract position, it will be managed by our 3rd party contractor vendor.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable (AP):
-Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
-Ensure timely payment to vendors and suppliers.
-Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
-Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions.
-Handle queries related to payments and invoices from suppliers.

2. Accounts Receivable (AR):
-Generate and send out invoices to customers.
-Record and allocate incoming payments accurately in XERO.
-Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collections.
-Prepare customer account reconciliations.
-Respond to customer queries related to invoices or payment

3. Bank Reconciliation:
-Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of bank accounts in XERO.
-Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and internal records.
-Ensure all bank transactions are recorded accurately.

4. Xero Accounting Software:
-Utilize Xero for data entry, transaction posting, and report generation.
-Ensure accuracy and consistency in data entry and maintain up-to-date financial records.
-Generate financial reports as required, such as aged payables, aged receivables, and bank reconciliation summaries.

Job Requirements
-Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or relevant fields
-Proficiency in XERO accounting software
-Strong understanding of AP, AR, and bank reconciliation processes

Job Scope:

• Perform general accounting functions (eg. Revenue accounting, payable processing, billings and preparation of monthly management reports, etc
• Facilitate the annual financial audit field work
• Assist in generation of additional reports for annual Strategic Business Planning, Budgeting Exercise and Half-Year Review, annual tax queries
• Perform bank reconciliation
• Prepare monthly audit schedules, management reports and quarterly GST return
• Coordinate with various centre and departments

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts:

• Basic accounting functions include preparing financial documents, data entry into accounting system and handle filing tasks.
• Maintain timely accuracy of monthly accounting entries
• Check all purchase invoices against delivery order prior to payment.
• Manage accounts payable, issue payments, process reimbursements, cheques, and etc
• Manage inventory data entry including issue delivery order, stock transfers, issue delivery order, billing, updating pricing, and stock adjustments
• Perform monthly stock reconciliation.
• Verify daily cash/collections, sales reconciliations, and raise invoices/sales journals
• Perform bank reconciliations, process journal entries
• Maintain a fixed assets register

Administration:

• Provide operational support to ensure adherence to company processes and procedures.

• Maintain internal and external administrative documents (contracts, licenses, trademarks, emails, etc.)

Requirement:

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting or ACCA/LCCI.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience (Fresh graduates are welcome)
• Experience in Retail, E-commerce, or F&B Accounts is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Possess a willing to learn and proactive attitude.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
