Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:

• Analyzing financial records to identify errors and discrepancies.
• Preparing year-end financial reports to evaluate the financial performance of companies.
• Regularly updating all accounting ledgers and journals.
• Performing reconciliations of clients’ bank accounts to ensure accuracy of cash records.
• Entering clients' transactional data into the appropriate accounting program.
• Recording clients' petty cash transactions in the petty cash journal.
• Ensuring that all office expenditure remains within budget.
• Backing up all office and client records to prevent loss of data.

### Accounts Assistant Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field is preferred.
• Proven experience working as an accounts assistant, accounts clerk, or similar role.
• Working knowledge of accounting terminology and procedures.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and accounting software.
• The ability to multitask.

Your jobscope surrounds but not limited to:

• Handle partial/full set accounts
• Periodic reconciliation and updating of bank statement

Job Description & Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform day-to-day operational matters – Account Receivables (AR) and Account Payable (AP)

2. Recording AR receipts into the accounting system and to ensure all AR collection is up to date

3. To verify vendors’ SOA and prepare payment vouchers

4. To assist in month end closing activities in term of bank reconciliation, GL, accrual, depreciation and prepayment entries

5. Any ad-hoc and other duties as assigned by the company

Responsibilities:

The primary job responsibility of the Accounts Executive is to execute the financial operations, which includes handling day-to-day accounting tasks such as recording financial transactions, preparing, and maintaining financial statements, and reconciling financial records. The officer assists in budgeting and forecasting activities to support effective financial planning and decision-making.

• Execute daily accounting and costing operations.
• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Verify purchase orders (POs), goods receipts, and invoices.
• Issue tax invoices and record payments.
• Perform GL and fixed asset adjustments as needed.
• Reconcile discrepancies with vendors, stakeholders, and banks.
• Manually compile costing data during system outages.
• Prepare audit schedules and support audit information requests.
• Assist in management and auditor reporting.

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Accountancy/Business Administration or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in AP with knowledge in AR & GL.
• Working knowledge of SAP systems and Excel.
• Ability to handle high pressure and tight datelines.
