20. Perform depreciation reasonableness test before month-end closing to ensure accurate accounting of depreciation.

21. Maintain and tag fixed asset purchased.

22. Verifies and audit fixed asset disposed.

23. Assist to prepare year end audit schedule for fixed asset and asset reports for tax filing purpose.

24. Stand-in for Accounts Payable as and when required.

25. Involves in expenses variance analysis during month-end closing and year-end closing.

Education & Work Experience

1. Diploma in Accountancy or similar qualifications

2. Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a hotel environment.

3. Possesses good analytical and interpersonal skills

4. Proficient in accounting principles with working knowledge in a computerized accounting environment, especially SAP is preferred. Good knowledge in MS Excel is an advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Support the Team Leader in the execution of work required including and not restricted to the preparation of the clients’ accounts, preparation or review of clients’ quarterly GST returns, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

Job Description

· Perform month-end closing activities;

· Record and process all business transactions in the accounting system using double-entry accounting;

· Record transactions and events relating to sales, purchases, receivables, payables and cash;

· Record transactions and events relating to inventory, accruals, prepayments, capital structures and finance costs;

· Accounts and Bank Reconciliation;

· Enter accurate data into the accounting system;

· Assist in all other ad-hoc general administrative functions when assigned.
