Reporting Structure:

This position will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the technology startup and the General Manager for the medical device distribution company.

The role requires the incumbent to manage the financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and handle various financial reporting tasks.

The individual must be detail-oriented, experienced in accounting, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure the accuracy of all financial records in compliance with applicable accounting principles.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports, providing data for decision-making.
• Handle daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Checking & Matching invoices with GRNs

· Follow up with vendors for outstanding invoices based on Dos

· Ensure there is no outstanding GRNs and invoice before month end closing

· Update invoices daily in NAV and post them after review by the Accounts Executive

· Monthly reconciliation of suppliers’ statements of account (SOA)

· Liaise with purchasers / suppliers for any discrepancies in invoicing

· Ensure all the Dos received are in order

· Preparation of monthly payments for local and overseas supplier

· Prepare staff claim

· Process creation and maintenance of vendors in system

· Update the vendor's payment in the cash book
