Accounts Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors and prompt collections from customers.
• Prepare and issue debit and credit notes as needed.
• Process petty cash vouchers, prepare expense claims, and record transactions in the accounting system.
• Coordinate and arrange payments to suppliers.
• Reconcile suppliers’ statements of accounts.
• Assist with quarterly GST submissions and ensure alignment between the accounting system and IRAS/Customs to meet MES compliance requirements.
• Perform any additional tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Accountancy, LCCI, CAT, or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience with the Navision accounting system is advantageous.

Accounts Assistant - 12 Months contract to handle full spectrum of Accounts Payable function inclusive of local and oversea suppliers payment, assist with internal and external audit activities, statutory tax reporting (ie. data extraction, etc.) and any other ad-hoc assignments.
