• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
• Prepare GST tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
• To receive and process all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment (AP & AR).
• Posts financial data to appropriate accounts in an automated accounting system, according to instructions.
• Review documents such as purchase orders or records in order to compute charges due.
• Contact customers in order to obtain or relay account information.
• Other general accounting duties as assigned.

• Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable
• Invoice preparation and follow-up, financial statement reconciliation
• Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
• Responsible for management and budgeting of cash flows
• Review effectiveness of internal controls with respect to payment cycle
• Updating of cashbook and timely posting to teh General Ledger
• Assist in th emonthly closing of accounts including preparation of accounting journals and quarterly GST filing
• Handle general office administration matters
• Asssit in other ad-hoc projets as required

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• At least 3 – 5 years of sales/ business development experience from hospitality industry.
• Candidate with prior experience in handling corporate/ MICE account will be an added advantage.
