Job Description:

• Manage all accounting transactions
• Prepare budget forecasts
• Handle monthly and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Comply with Singapore financial policies and regulations

Other Responsibilities Include:

• Handle incorporation secretarial matters, independently, such as preparation of resolutions/minutes for clients’ companies, online submission with ACRA, annual filing, update of statutory registers and minute book etc
• Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements
• Human Resources including payroll, staff claims, employment documents, leave updates, and filing
• Administration including ordering office supplies, and other ad-hoc

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent
• Min 2 - 3 years of relevant working experience
• Good accounting skills, preferably a full set of account
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as ABSS and MYOB
• Good attitude and ability to work independently as well as a team
• Meticulous, detailed, resourceful, and willing to take up additional responsibility

Main Responsibilities:

• Input invoices received from Local Vendors
• AP invoice EDI
• Check and tally monthly Export/Import/General Expenses submitted by Agents against Tariffs and Rates in Company’s system.
• EDI monthly reports into system after reports checked and in order.
• Arrange payment or receipt to/from agents.
• Obtain and compile Estimates and Certificates from Disbursement account and tally to invoices raised for Recovery of 2.5 / 5 years test for the company
• Ad hoc tasks as and when required

Requirements:

• NO EXPERIENCE WELCOME - Training provided
• Advanced / Higher ITE/ Graduate Diploma in Accountancy
• 1 years of relevant working experience in similar position is an advantage

Job Summary: The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of accounts receivable and accounts payable, third-party billing, intercompany billing, and monthly reconciliation of accounts payable. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Receivable (AR): Process and manage incoming payments.
   Prepare and send invoices to clients.
   Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collection of payments.
   Maintain accurate records of all AR transactions.
   
2. Accounts Payable (AP): Process and verify invoices from suppliers.
   Prepare and execute payments to vendors.
   Reconcile AP accounts on a monthly basis.
   Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions.
   
3. Third-Party Billing: Manage billing processes for third-party clients.
   Ensure accuracy and completeness of billing information.
   Resolve any billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
   
4. Intercompany Billing: Handle billing transactions between different entities within the organization.
   Ensure proper documentation and accuracy of intercompany transactions.
   Reconcile intercompany accounts regularly.
   
5. AP Monthly Reconciliation:Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts payable.
   Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
