RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Support the Team Leader in the execution of work required including and not restricted to the preparation of the clients’ accounts, preparation or review of clients’ quarterly GST returns, etc.

· Provide guidance to junior staff

· Ensure firm’s service standards and clients’ reporting deadlines are met

· Undertake any other ad-hoc assignments

REQUIREMENTS:

· Only Singaporean will be considered

· Minimum Diploma in Accounting or its equivalent

· At least 3 years of relevant experience with public accounting firms or in similar capacity

· Ability to work independently and efficiently

· Possess good knowledge of GST and FRS

· Possess working knowledge of Xero and MYOB software preferred

Our Client is a well established General Insurer with long standing history in the market. As a Accounts Officer, your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

• Handle Accounts Payables duties - process invoices and payments.
• Handle Accounts Receiveable duties - timely and accurate sales billing and monthly update of AR reports.
• Perform accurate data entry to computerized accounting system.
• Perform bank reconciliation and balance sheet schedule
• Prepare bank in cash, cheque, sales register

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accountancy with at least 1 year of experience in processing partial set of accounts.

Responsibilities:

1. Daily reconcile bank receipts, payment gateway receipts, sales report and membership redemption reports.
2. Prepare the merchant payment list and prepare in the DBS portal.
3. Identify discrepancy and liaise with both merchant and IT team to proceed for cancellation or refund.
4. Prepare daily sales reports and sales reconciliation with different platforms.
5. Prepare pricing and breakeven calculation excel sheet (Scenario analysis)
6. Sales forecast report
7. Prepare sales invoice and chase for customer payment, if any
8. Bookkeeping for Sales accounts and merchant payment accounts.
9. Prepare a full set report for a secondary entity - bookkeeping, payment list, GST report and submission and management report.
10. Other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Accounting or Finance qualification (Degree or equivalent)
• Experience in market place accounting, example: liaise with lazada, foodpanda, shopee transactions before will be an advantage
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel (example: Macro, Pivot, Vlookup and etc.)
• An excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills in English and Mandarin.
• Highly organized and independent with proven ability to deliver results, ensuring compliance to accounting standards and internal controls
• Attention to detail and accuracy
