• Duties include:

• Investigate and report all allegations of theft, criminal damage and other incidents to the Security Manager
• Prepare Incident Report pertaining to all safety and security related incidents after the necessary actions have been taken
• Manage undesirable behavior in a professional manner, intervene and defuse potential altercations
• Constantly remain updated on fire evacuation procedures, and handle catastrophic situations such as bomb threats and evacuation procedures effectively
• Oversee carpark operations and render assistance where necessary
• Assist Front Desk Office with luggage and transport arrangement duties when required

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year relevant experience
• Matured and positive individual with absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding confidential information
• Ability to maintain a sound sense of judgment in emergency situations
• Holder of a valid security license issued from the Singapore Police Force
• Completed WSQ Security module (Provide Guard and Patrol Services, Handle Security Incidents and Services, Recognise Terrorist Threats)
• Able to commit to rotating shifts including public holidays and weekends.
• Preferable First Aid, CPR & AED certified
• Working Location will be in Orchard area
• 4 days work week with 2 working shifts. (8am to 8pm and 8pm to 8am)

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain all records of fixed assets movements within the Hotel in the Register and reconcile with the General Ledger.
• Tag the Hotel’s fixed assets periodically.
• Check that the depreciation of fixed assets are computed and recorded accurately by reconciling to the General Ledger.
• Conduct the sighting/audit of major category of assets’ existence on an annual basis.
• Conduct and complete inventory count, provide supervisory assistance during the stock-take process in other departments as well as in the general stores.
• Ensure all accounting entries are in order for passing of journal entries and assist in preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules for circulation to the management and auditing purposes.
• Update balance sheet detailed schedules and expenses schedules on a monthly basis.
• Prepare the GST Quarterly Returns and payment submissions.
• Prepare yearly audit schedules and government statistical reports.
• Assist with projects and system enhancements implementation.
• Perform any other job tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in Accounts Department in the hospitality industry.
• Meticulous and attentive to details.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily Accounting & Finance duties including receivables and payable process.

• Assist authors in the outreach and communication of reports produced by the Working Group II, ensuring that scientific information is effectively conveyed to the target audiences.
• Contribute to the development and updating of webpages related to the activities and products of the Working Group II TSU and ensure that the web content is current, accurate, and engaging for diverse audiences.
• Support regional outreach efforts to disseminate IPCC findings and engage stakeholders at the local and regional levels.
• Work alongside communications experts from other TSUs and the IPCC Secretariat to facilitate coordinated and enhanced communication efforts.
• Collaborate with contracted experts to leverage their specialized skills and contribute to the overall communication strategy.
• Develop methods and products for communicating IPCC findings, ensuring innovation and effectiveness in reaching different audiences.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in communications, marketing or a relevant field; with at least 7 years of related work experience.

• Liaise with the TSUs host organization to establish the TSU IT infrastructure and manage the procurement, configuration, maintenance, and modernization of its IT infrastructure components.
• Provide system administration support for all platforms, including PC, Mac, and Linux systems and ensure the smooth functioning and security of IT systems, addressing any technical issues that may arise.
• Set up and maintain electronic databases relevant to the activities of Working Group II and ensure the integrity and security of these databases.
• Establish and maintain procedures for data backup and security to safeguard critical information and implement measures to protect data from loss or unauthorized access.
• Manage platforms and mechanisms that support collaborative drafting of reports and figures by author teams and facilitate the submission of nominations and review comments by experts and governments.
• Develop and maintain an author portal with tools to assist in the assessment process and provide technical support for authors engaged in the drafting and review of reports.
• Develop and maintain the Working Group II pages of the IPCC website, including microsites for specific reports.
• Provide IT support during international meetings and sessions of the IPCC Working Group II and ensure that technological requirements for meetings are met, and technical issues are promptly addressed.
• Support the curation of data products from Working Group II reports in collaboration with the Task Group on Data and the IPCC Data Distribution Centre.

• Degree in computer sciences, information technology or a related field; with at least 5 years of relevant work experience after conferment of first degree.
• Experience in the system administration of local networks with the highest security requirements;
• System knowledge of PC, Macintosh, networks, mail and web servers, and backup systems;
• Experience with website development and maintenance;
