Roles & Responsibilities

Requirements

· LCCI Certificate in Accounting or equivalent

· Required skill(s): XERO, MS Office, basic accounting knowledge, admin duties

· Good interpersonal and communication details

· Pro-active, meticulous and detail-oriented character

Overall, security officers are tasked with securing the premises and personnel by staying on patrol, monitoring surveillance equipment, performing building inspections, guarding entry points, and verifying visitors.

He/She will be responsible for Account Payable.

Job Duties

• Handle daily AP operation activities, timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Liaise with AP related issues with relevant department.
• Resolve any vendors' payment dispute / discrepancies.
• Ensure all expenses claims compliance with Company Internal Controls, Policies, Processes and Procedures.
• Assist to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Support GL overall analysis.
• Ad-hoc analysis or related duties as required or assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry into accounting system.
• Verify supplier invoices and arrange for payments.
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentations for audit.
• Responsible for keeping track of all documents timely and accurately in SAP system.
• Perform monthly/ quarterly / yearly internal controls activity document testing.
• Prepare expenses analysis and GST report.
• Provide efficient supervision and guidance to AP staff.
• Liaise with external/internal auditors / internal users / banks etc.
• Any other ad hoc duties as and when assigned by Manager.

Job Scope:

• Check daily sales recorded in the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Verify sales receipts across all payment modes.
• Investigate and resolve sales and payment discrepancies.
• Collaborate closely with operations for issue resolution.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
• Prepare monthly SOA and aging reports for customer balances.
• Monitor and follow up with debtors for overdue payments.
• Raise tax invoices, debit notes, and intercompany billing documents.
• Reconcile bank statements for Accounts Receivable transactions.
  Month-end Activities:
• Prepare and submit monthly Goods and Services Tax (GST) reports.
• Engage in annual and revenue audits for financial accuracy and compliance.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility based on business needs.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma / Degree in Accounting or professional accounting qualifications
• Experience in business finance roles
