RESPONSIBLITIES

· Must be able to handle Full Set of Accounts independently

· Handles day-to-day book-keeping and administrative tasks

· Prepares invoices and ensures that all projects are billed to clients

· Makes online payments for all expenses incurred

· Monitor incoming funds & follows up with clients for overdue amounts

· Monitor deadlines and ensures that payment is made in a timely manner

· Processes remuneration-related expenses (e.g. salaries, CPF)

· Handles GST, corporate tax matters, tax clearance and IR8A

· Manages company’s cashflow and prepares bank reconciliation

· To liaise with auditor & coordinate with audit process

· Any ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time

· At least A Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent

· Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience

· Sage Accpac ERP system knowledge preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION

A Careers & Alumni Officer guides and supports the learners in their career development and provides alumni with ongoing career assistance and guidance. This role involves sharing careers resources and some career counselling, job placement, networking and event coordination as well as curating and maintaining alumni networks.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide one-to-one career counselling sessions to learners and assist them in identifying their strengths.
• Offer guidance on educational and vocational planning to help learners make informed decisions about their future.
• Establish and maintain relationships with alumni to offer ongoing career support and networking opportunities.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local employers and organisations to facilitate job placement opportunities for students and alumni.
• Curate and distribute career-related resources, including job postings, internships,and educational opportunities.
• Generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of career services.
• Support with the organisation of careers and university events within the school and in the wider community.
• Support with the organisation of careers and university workshops for staff and parents.
• Write formal references for students applying to university that are detailed and individualised.
• Review references written by staff members to support university applications to ensure consistency in style and content.

Job Description:

• Handling all incoming and outgoing shipments
• Process customer’s orders/ enquiries timely and accurately and timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)
• Handling LCL documentation
• Monitor vessel schedule via PSA PortNet, SATS or SIA
• Ensure all customers’ standard operating procedures are followed and updated
• Liaison work with drivers, customers, external vendors and etc
• Manage all customer enquiries
• Resolve operational issues encountered
• Plan, arrange and monitor the deliveries and shipments of the loose cargo
• Identify any risk factors that may impact efficiency and safety during transport execution
• Coordinate closely with the drivers and team of internal coordinators to ensure smooth and efficient transportation
• Review daily transport operational activities and ensure all delivery activities are carried out within schedule in a very efficient and cost-effective manner
• Schedule vehicles for routine servicing / repairs / LTA inspection
• Meet compliance at all times
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience in Customer Service (Transportation Industry)
• Familiar with PSA PortNet, SATS or SIA
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Logistics & Supply Chain (Transportation industry preferred)
• Strong communication, presentation and customer service skills
• Reasonable knowledge of Singapore roads, yard and port operations
• Ability to perform under a fast-paced and performance driven environment
• Able to work independently with pro-active attitude
• Ability to communicate with one other languages a plus
