Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Officer/Executive to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing supplier invoices, ensuring payments are processed accurately, and supporting monthly account reconciliations. Roles & Responsibilities

• Review and circulate supplier invoices for department verification and approval.
• Prepare accurate and timely payments for suppliers.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of creditors’ statements of accounts.
• Assist in preparing journal entries for month-end account closings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the finance team.

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC or certificate in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or a related field.
• Hardworking, meticulous, and capable of working independently.

Additional Information

• Location: 55 Ubi Road
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 6:15pm.
  One Saturday per month: 9:00am – 1:00pm.
• Salary: $2,300 – $3,500 depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective family and youth programmes in alignment with Mosque’s strategic direction
• Oversee youth volunteers’ outreach and engagement to sustain interest in leading community projects for the mosque
• Collaborate with key stakeholders in developing strategic programmes that empower families and youth
• Support the mosque’s dakwah and social development programmes

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree from recognised institution
• ARS Accredited (Tier 1) is preferred
• Good IT skills and well versed in using social media platforms
• Self-driven and team player
• Good interpersonal skills
• Able to work flexibly and outside normal working hours
