• Conduct Mass toolbox meetings to highlight safety issues
• Conduct internal training for all site staffs
• Conduct daily inspection of work activities to ensure implementation of safe work procedures
• To investigate near miss / incidents / accidents & generate reports and recommend remedial actions
• To ensure risk assessment control measures are implemented on site and feedback to superior
• Develop safety programs and monitor workers safe work practices
• Comply and assist in implementing the requirements of the WSH Act and all its subsidiary and statutory legal legislation
• Assist in identifying any unsafe condition / unsafe act & recommend / implement control measures.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superior
• Conduct machinery inspections and ensure all equipment in good condition
• Ensure all required permits/licenses related to workplace safety, health and environmental control required by authorities and management are kept in order
• Assist in implementation and continual review of WSHMS, FPP, Lifting plan, etc.
• Candidate must possess at least Safety Coordinator / WSH Level B, Working at Height Assessor and Confined space assessor
• A team player and meticulous
• First Aider certificate would be an advantage
• At least three years’ experience in LTA MRT construction projects / Major civil / M&E projects.
• Able to start work immediately or within a short notice.
• Able to communicate at any level (Workers, Engineers and Managers)
• Able to perform shift works (Day or Night)
