· Assist the Quantity Surveyor in site verification of as-built / completed works

· Inspection of Workers' Quarters

· Checking of delivery orders and checking of OCS (optional component scheme)

The main duties of the RTO (during the defects liability period) shall include but not be limited to the following:

· verify that the Contractor’s defects rectification is completed satisfactorily

· monitor and track that the rectification of the defect meets the service standards set

· attend joint inspections as and when required

· any other duties assigned by your superior

Job Requirements

· The Resident Technical Officer shall be qualified and competent and possess the relevant skills, knowledge, and ability to coordinate and supervise the diversion works.

· Must be accredited RTO by the Institute of Engineers of Singapore (IES)

· Fully conversant with statutory regulations with good organization skills in maintaining site records

· Pro-active in resolving and managing site issues with good team spirit

· Minimum 5 years local experience in Industrial Building construction

Job Scope:

• Oversee and organize the daily schedule for the company's launch boat activities
• Manage logistics for launch arrangements for internal staff, including coordinating with external vendors for services
• Keep detailed records of launch movements for payment validation and related purposes
• Support the purchasing department in arranging logistics for the delivery of provisions, spare parts, and other supplies by both land and sea
• Review and verify relevant invoices
• Assist the purchasing department with any additional assigned tasks
• Carry out projects and duties as directed

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Maritime, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics coordination, sales, or purchasing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interact with stakeholders effectively

JOB SUMMARY

At YMCA of Singapore, the Youth Leadership Development Programmes department collaborates with our regional partners to reach out to communities in developing countries through development projects which focus on infrastructure, healthcare, sustainability, and education. Each year, more than 1,200 youths are empowered to be community champions through one of the many projects carried out in countries such as Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam and more.

Your role will be to provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office on an as-needed basis. You will assist in paving the way for smooth project execution and closure of our volunteer teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform general clerical duties, including but not limited to documents preparations, digital file management, and event scheduling.
• In-charge of the preparation and submission of documents and reports in compliance with governmental funding requirements.
• Tracking and coordination of payments, travel related arrangements, and fulfillment of requirements for projects closure.
• Process and creation of job codes, project codes, purchase orders, and sales orders on NAV system.
• Collaborate with team members to support office-wide initiatives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus.
• Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute and complete scheduled operations and maintenance (O&M) tasks, along with ad-hoc maintenance activities, within set timelines and with the highest quality standards.
• Conduct routine inspections and checks of each equipment and process unit, accurately filling out and submitting checklists to the supervisor without delay.
• Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance tasks, submitting maintenance records and checklists promptly to the supervisor.
• Address equipment breakdowns with corrective maintenance, ensuring all checklists and records are submitted to the supervisor.
• Report any equipment abnormalities or failures to the supervisor and assist in implementing rectification plans.
• Support operations activities as needed.
• Perform initial troubleshooting for equipment issues and report findings to the supervisor; assist in more advanced troubleshooting when required.
• Supervise maintenance contractors to ensure work is completed to standard.
• Promptly alert the supervisor to any unusual occurrences or potential damages.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Manage equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by monitoring stock levels and anticipating the need for spare parts.
• Undertake other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Required Skills/Abilities:
• Be able to conduct conditional assessments for existing systems.
• Estimate labour for complex mechanical system installation.
• Develop expertise in equipment as assigned.
• Must possess leadership abilities and good client maintenance skills.

·Education and Experience:

• Diploma in engineering or Higher Nitec (mechanical, electrical, or industrial)
• Minimum of 3 years’ exp erience in facilities engineering or similar
• Knowledge of fire alarm systems.
• Understanding of building regulations and health and safety.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work well with non-engineering colleagues.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot on the spot.
