Job Description

- Manage a complete set of accounts independently for a client portfolio.

- Support the Assistant Director and collaborate with team members on various accounting tasks.

- Prepare and/or review management accounts (monthly, quarterly, annually), financial

statements, related schedules, and XBRL financial statements promptly.

- Ensure timely preparation, review, and submission of quarterly GST returns.

- Serve as the main contact for clients, addressing inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

- Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities (such as ACRA & IRAS)

- Undertake other ad-hoc projects or responsibilities as needed.

Job Requirements

- ACCA/degree/diploma in Accountancy with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

- Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced

environment.

- Comfortable in managing a diverse client portfolio from various industries.

- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and with clients.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Xero and ABSS/MYOB preferred

- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills

- 9am to 6pm, upto 20 days annual leaves, variable bonus

- Salary upto $4,600/month

• In charge of full spectrum of Accounts Receivable functions including:
• Timely and accurate billings via Business Central & submission to customer invoice portal

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including daily bookkeeping and monthly financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly profit and loss statements.
• Monitor daily cash flow and manage financial transactions.
• Payroll and Statutory Contributions
• Handle employee salary disbursement and manage CPF submissions.
• Oversee stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records.
• Ensure all financial reporting complies with Singapore accounting standards.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required
• Full Sets Accounting experience will be advantageous, basic knowledge on Singapore Accounting Standards and GST Regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software.

Responsibilities:

• Perform AP functions include verifying supplier’s invoices, initiating payments/fast payments, data entry and maintenance & reconciliation of creditors’ ledger.
• Process payments related to supplier invoices
• Ensure all GL codes and cost centres used are correct and in order
• Handle petty cash claims and reimbursement and staff claims.
• Assist in preparing monthly bank and accounts reconciliation.

• Possess a recognised Certificate in Accounting or its equivalent
• With 2 years of experience doing AP in similar industry
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Some working knowledge in accounting principles and standard practices

• Prepare monthly financial statements and report to management.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns and other statutory filings.

• Prepare journal entries for month-end closing.
• Monitor inter-company transactions.
• Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures.
• Perform reconciliation of fixed assets.
• Ensure that customers' funds are timely received.
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST return.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Possess an understanding of Singapore tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare IR8A and submission IR21 for foreign worker.
