Responsibilities

• Responsible for full set of accounts transaction (AP, AR & GL)
• Manage cash flows and supervise collections/payments issues.
• Prepare monthly financial reports (journal, general ledger, trial balance, balance sheet & profit and loss).
• Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Assist in yearly forecasts and budgets.
• Liaise with external parties (e.g., auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents).
• Ensure accounting and internal control procedures comply with group policies.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

• Min. Diploma / Degree in Finance and Accounting or other professional accounting certificate or equivalent.
• Min. 3 years of relevant accounting experience in handling a full set of accounts.
• Familiar with Sage 300 and EPICOR will be highly regarded.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well organised, meticulous, analytical and able to work independently.
• A team player who is able to deliver under tight deadlines.

Purpose of role: To oversee supplier approval process and compliance with EUDR requirements for GCB’s Malaysia and Indonesia factories

Responsibilities

· Support supplier approval process. Ensure assessments completed, supporting documentation received and SOP followed.

· Work in close collaboration with the EUDR project teams and trading colleagues to monitor compliant cocoa volumes and ensure compliance with EUDR requirements.

· Traceability; Monitor EUDR deliveries and verify suppliers’ traceability processes and documents against Compliant Cocoa SOP.Deforestation Risk Assessments: review geodata received from suppliers to ensure deliveries have negligible risk of deforestation

· Information Management: Manage all documentation related to supplier assessments and compliant cocoa deliveries so it is securely stored and auditable.

· Risk Management: follow-up supplier action plans and ensure risk mitigation measures are carried out.

Skillsets:

 Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and identify potential compliance risks or issues.

 Attention to Detail: Precision in reviewing documents and processes to ensure all compliance requirements are met.

· Audit Techniques: Familiarity with auditing processes and tools to evaluate compliance effectiveness.

Background:

 Education: A bachelor's degree in fields such business administration, accounting, or supply chain management.

 Certifications: Professional certifications, such as Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

 Work Experience: Previous experience in compliance, risk management, auditing, or legal roles. Experience in the supply chain/logistics is beneficial.

• Delivers required security service based on Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
• Conduct indoor and outdoor security patrols.
• Prevent unauthorized entry, trespass, intrusion and acts of vandalism.
• Prevent abuse of facilities provided in the site by occupiers (including visitors).
• Conduct crowd and vehicle traffic control.
• Ensure barriers are always down when no vehicle is entering.
• Ensure security office doors are secured and always locked after office hours.
• Control and direct traffic movements during morning and evening peak hours.
• Ensure that all personnel register at the designated security counters and issue visitor pass in exchange for valid photo identification documents.
• Conduct audit check on security passes to ensure only authorized vehicle and personnel can access.

Qualification:

• Possess a valid Security Licence (by PLRD)
• Possess valid relevant certification including:Guard and Patrol, Access Control Management: Provide Guard and Patrol Services and Operate Basic Security Equipment
  Incident Response: Handle Security Incidents and Services
  Threat Observation: Recognise Terrorist Threats
