Job Description​

• Managing the financial process and procedures
• Managing customer relationships
• Ensure all customer requirements and needs are fulfilled with proper follow up through for all financial matters
• Gather information from marketplace and customer for improvement in financial processes and procedures to meet their needs
• Coordination within internal business units of Company to ensure fulfillment of job activities through financial compliances

Job Purpose:

• Hands-on experience with knowledge of full spectrum of accounts
• Efficiently undertake a range of duties related to the accounting/bookkeeping/treasury function of the business.

Key responsibilities:

1) Perform full spectrum of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and fixed asset function for several legal entities including invoice posting

2) Ensure all disbursements for vendor invoice and staff claims are processed timely and accurately and comply to policies and regulations

3) Work closely with other functions to proactively manage and resolve payment and receivable issues effectively and efficiently

4) Cash management including funding requirement and managing cashflow

5) Prepare month-end reconciliations and journals

6) Assist Snr Accounts Executive in month end closing

7) Assist in-country compliance with government regulations including external audits and tax returns

8) Any other ad-hoc tasks from management

Requirements:

a) Accountancy in Diploma/Degree or equivalent certificate

b) At least 2 years of general accounting experience is advantageous

c) Has prior working experience with China accounts will be preferred.

d) Knowledge of VAT/GST and withholding tax is advantageous

e) SAP Business one experience will be advantage.

f) Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications.

g) Positive working attitude with a high level of initiative

h) Good interpersonal and communication skill

i) Meticulous, able to work independently as well as in a team

j) Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.

About the role:

• Data entry and maintain accurate complete account transcations
• Handles (Non-trade) Accounts Payable Function
• Accurately review a high volume of supplier invoices and ensure all documentation is correctly approved prior to payment
• Ensure prompt payment in accordance wth credit terms and prepare payments.
• Review monthly vendor reconciliation and statements are followed up.
• Prepare monthly schedules for month-end closing.
• Resolving invoices received without purchase order numbers.
• Provide support to the office and the finance team in rectifying accounting problems.
• Ensuring that the processing deadlines are met.

• Polytechnic/Diploma in accountancy or LCCI diploma in accountancy or equivalent
• 2 years of relevant working experience

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of invoices i.e. scanning, updating and posting of invoices in system
• Processing of payments to vendors and perform bank reconciliation
• Liaison with vendors for missing invoices/payment status
• Attach daily bank advice in accounting system
• To perform ad-hoc duties as per assigned

Requirements

• O Levels/ LCCI / Certificate / Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
• Computer skills and Microsoft Office
• Minimum 1 year of related experience

Job Description:

• Handle full set of accounts and month end closing;
• Prepare GST returns;
• Prepare monthly payment by internet banking or cheque payment;
• Liaise with external auditors, company secretary and tax agents for company-related matters;
• Prepare staff payroll, CPF submission, IR8A & IR21;
• Ensure timely and accurate financial and management reporting;
• Ensure timely preparation of balance sheet schedules;
• Ensure compliance with accounting policy and procedures; and
• Assist in any ad hoc assignment.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, ACCA or Equivalent;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, Powerpoint;
• Positive, organised, proactive, meticulous and responsible individual;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Able to work independently;
• Strong sense of task ownership;
• Good knowledge of SFRS/IFRS; and
• Those with IT background/experience especially in modern automation tools are highly desired.
