Job Description

• Processing payment and prepare cheque
• Supporting Accountant in data entry and information gather for reports purpose
• Record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Process and verify invoices, match them with purchase orders and delivery receipts, and ensure timely payment to vendors
• Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements
• Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies and verifying supporting documentation
• A/R, A/P transactions
• Any other ad-hoc work instructed by superior for account related matters

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Accountancy
• Accounting knowledge is necessary
• AT least 1-year experience
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial records
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Basic understanding of financial regulations and compliance

• At least 3 years of working experience
• Senior executive accounts role
• Handling of full set of accounts
• Quarterly GST reporting and submissions
• Familiar with MIM Inventory and Accounting software
• Experience in Automotive industry and inventory control a plus
• Spoken Languages : English / Mandarin
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to SOPs for AR and AP processes, ensuring accurate data entry.
• Review purchase orders, verify goods received, process invoices, and make required payments.
• Match shipment records with the system, issue tax invoices to customers, and record payments received.
• Execute manual or ad hoc adjustments to the general ledger and fixed asset capitalization as instructed by the accountant.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies with vendors, internal stakeholders, and banks, flagging unusual cases and obtaining approval for adjustments.
• Compile costing data manually in the event of a costing machine malfunction.
• Prepare audit schedules and assist in organizing audit-related information.
• Provide support for management and auditor reporting by compiling necessary data.

Requirements:

• A diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least one year of experience in Accounts Payable (AP).
• Understanding of fundamental principles of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with SAP systems (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective stakeholder management skills to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Highly meticulous with great attention to detail.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Resilience to handle complexity and demanding situations effectively.

Job Description

• Working Location: Ubi (near MRT)
• Working Hours: 5.25 Days; Mon – Fri (8am – 6pm), Alt Sat (8am – 12pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + OT + Variable Bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable process.
• Prepare and issue invoices, packing lists, credit notes, and debit notes using the MYOB accounting software to ensure accurate and timely billing.
• Prepare and manage shipping documents, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and timely delivery of goods.
• Monitor and process customer purchase orders (PO) efficiently, coordinating with relevant departments as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
• Regularly update and maintain records, suggesting improvements and enhancements to improve efficiency.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
