Accounts Executive/Senior Accounts Executive - 1 year contract

Job Descriptions:

1. Responsible for preparing the full sets of financial statements for subsidiary companies, ensuring that monthly financial reports and supporting schedules are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.

2. Perform daily accounting and finance duties, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, tax compliance, and bank reconciliations.

3. Prepare monthly cash flow projections, the annual budget, and ad-hoc forecasts.

4. Prepare statutory filings, including financial statements and tax-related documents (corporate tax and GST).

5. Liaise with the auditors to ensure timely completion of audit and preparation of audited financial statements.

6. Ensure that internal controls are in place.

7. Any other assignments or duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. A Degree in Accounting with a professional qualification preferred

2. A Minimum of 2-5 years of work experience, preferably in the real estate sector

3. Strong analytical skills, attention to details, and a high level of integrity

4. Ability to multi-task, handle urgent requests and work in a fast-paced environment

5. Proactive team player with a strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and a "can do" attitude

6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Navision), and Cognos is an advantage

7. Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)

8. Flexible, with an inquisitive mind and a strong willingness to learn and take on new finance-related tasks

Overview for the role:

The role will provide administration support in Marketing and Admissions department and to provide comprehensive services to students and staff and maintain the applicable student management systems for the university.

Job Duties:

Student Contracts and Student’s Pass Management

• Update student’s records status on Student Management systems to ensure accuracy of record.
• Process Student’s Pass applications and Student’s Pass cancellation for each study period on system
• Maintain records of the application, payment, approval, and formality completions of Student’s Pass.
• Ensure all Student’s Pass changes have relevant approvals in line with policy.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Student’s Pass requirements.

Student Contracts

• Assist in the preparation and checking of Student Contracts.
• Execute student contracts in accordance with the procedures and in line with policy.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Student Contracts policies and procedures.

Others

• Ensure file circulation to relevant departments is conducted timely.
• Maintain student’s medical insurance coverage records.
• Provide student services support on Student Contract and Student’s Pass enquiries.
• Ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Senior Admissions Officer.
