At YMCA of Singapore, the Youth Leadership Development Programmes department collaborates with our regional partners to reach out to communities in developing countries through development projects which focus on infrastructure, healthcare, sustainability, and education. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform general clerical duties, including but not limited to documents preparations, digital file management, and event scheduling.

Senior Accounts Executive ( Full Sets )

Salary: $ 3200 - $ 3600 (Depends on Work Experiences)

Job Responsibilities

Supervision and Team Management:

1. Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
2. Provide guidance, support, and supervision to accounting staff.
3. Leading and motivating the accounting team in order to achieve the set OKR and KPI
4. Ensure that team members adhere to accounting principles and company policies.
5. Prepare financial forecast for inter-companies billing.
6. Work with department heads to align financial goals across the company

Financial Reporting:

1. Maintain Full set of accounting records for multiple companies.
2. Prepare staff allocation report.
3. Work closely with external counterparties for completion of monthly/yearly closing.
4. Provide reliable data for cash flow projections.
5. Prepare and review quarterly GST reporting.
6. Prepare monthly accounting schedule.
7. Prepare and review group of month-end closing report to managements.
8. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and standards.
9. Ensure timely completion of monthly accounts of companies directly under your responsibility and other group of companies handled by accounting staff.

General Ledger Management:

1. Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
2. Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
3. Reviewing financial statements for accuracy and make adjustments when needed.
4. Implement and maintain internal controls to protect company assets.

Compliance and Regulations:

1. Stay updated on accounting regulations and ensure the company stays compliant..
2. Ensure compliance with local government requirements and timely reporting to relevant regulatory bodies.
3. Coordinate with auditors and external consultant on compliance matters.

Process Improvement:

1. Identify areas for improvement and increase efficiency in accounting processes.
2. Implement best practices to streamline accounting procedures.
3. Participate in system upgrades or implementations.
4. Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate superior.
