Job scope:
The Employee shall have the following responsibilities and duties:

• Assisting with the administration of legal structures including trust, companies, foundations and other similar structures.
• Ensuring the adherence of these structures to the fiduciary, statutory, regulatory, and internal obligations that they are subject to.
• Drafting of appropriate documents and other work to assist a team of administrators of administrating the legal structures and responding (or proactively engaging) with client requests.
• Assisting with contact with client, advisors and related third parties (for example external lawyers, tax consultants etc.).
• Assisting an accounts team with the preparation of annual accounts for the legal structures, by assisting qualified bookkeepers and accountants to ensure correct information is provided to them and recorded.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures and learning and adhering to AML/CFT and other regulator regulations and obligations.

Job Description

• Collaborate with APAC partners such as auditors and tax agents.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders for timely statutory filings and audits.
• Consolidate and standardize APAC audit and tax reporting processes.
• Support the creation of SOP manuals for audit and tax data.
• Provide guidance on accounting and tax topics to internal teams.
• Assist in implementing and strengthening internal controls.
• Contribute to cross-functional coordination for statutory filing reports.

The Successful Applicant

• Holds a diploma in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Liaison with business partners in China is required, business emails are written in mandarin - fluency in the mandarin language/ ability to use translators effectively is required.
• Has 3 years of financial regulatory experience (audit preferred).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxes, and internal controls.
• Experienced with Microsoft Dynamics D365 or similar ERP systems.
• Possesses excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Adaptable, proactive, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
