Job Requirements:

· Some practical experience in working with accounts/bookkeeping.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and follow up on the timely submission of employee timesheets for accurate revenue recognition.
• Ensure that the Accounts Payable (AP) month-end closing is completed within the specified timeline.
• Perform vendor verification and creation in SAP.
• Process payables transactions, including supplier invoices and employee reimbursements, in compliance with accounting principles, GST regulations, and the correct General Ledger (GL) account based on the nature of expenses.
• Review invoices for compliance with financial policies, circulate invoices for departmental verification and approval, and ensure proper documentation is in place before processing payments.
• Prepare reconciliations for balance sheet schedules, vendor accounts, and the general ledger.
• Prepare month-end journal entries, including payable accruals and prepayments amortization.
• Assist in the preparation of GST reports for submission.
• Support year-end external and internal audits, including preparing audit schedules.
• Provide business partnership to business divisions and suppliers regarding Accounts Payable queries.
• Perform ad-hoc finance duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum a Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy or Accounting related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within an MNC and a high-volume environment.
• Strong working knowledge of GST regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with computerized accounting systems. Familiarity with SAP accounting system is an advantage.
• Meticulous, well-organized, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Job scope:

AP

- Verify, process, and book invoices with appropriate documentation via the AP Automation system / SAP.

- Prepare payments to vendors via SAP payment proposal and other banking portals.

- Record all outgoing payments in SAP.

- Perform monthly reconciliation of AP aging reports with vendors and distributors.

- Maintain and set up vendor master data in SAP.

- Generate monthly AP aging reports.

- Verify and record staff claims.

- Conduct monthly AP intercompany confirmations.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for the monthly reconciliation and settlement of intercompany transactions.

- Assist users with Coupa/Concur inquiries.

AR

- Preparation and sending of invoices & statement of account to customers.

- Recording and reconciling payments from customers for various source of revenue.

- Producing AR aging report in monthly basis.

- Record all incoming receipts in SAP.

GL

- Prepare & park monthly journal entries into SAP.

- Liaise with various department on accruals for revenue, cost & expenses.

Ad Hoc

- Assist in projects and system enhancement
