Overall in-charge of the Econ Group on its finance and accounting aspects

• Responsible for financing and banking matters

• Feasibility study on all projects in Singapore as well as overseas on its financial aspect

• Monitor the financial performance of Econ Group

• Involve in the taxation and costing matters

• Improve on the accounting management information system and computerisation programme

• Develop standard accounting practice within the group of companies

• Approval of payment

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily operational AP/ AR tasks including invoicing, payment, receipts, staff claims, and others
• Handle bank reconciliation and other bank related matters
• Perform Monthly Reconciliation
• Generate statements of accounts to respective department and customer
• Assist in preparation of monthly and adhoc reporting and audit schedules
• Assist in monthly financial closing and ensure responsible accounting entries are properly, timely and accurately updated
• Perform other supporting functions within the Finance Department
• Other duties to be assigned

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, ACCA, AAT or other professional Accounting qualifications
• Min. 2 years of relevant experience with hands-on experience
• Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Immediate or short notice candidates with working experience would be an advantage

Job Duties

• Maintain peace and order within the Hotel premise and to provide safety and security to Hotel guests, patrons, employees and their belongings, and the Hotel’s properties.
• Ensure no break-in and intrusion in secured and protected areas.
• Perform patrolling round in all areas of the Hotel premise.
• Conduct investigations on incidents involving disturbance, accidents, losses, thefts, etc. occurring in the Hotel.
• Report all matters that are harmful to the Hotel business eg pimping, prostitution, gambling and touting syndicates, internal collusion and theft, dishonesty, etc.
• Be familiar with the fire emergency plan. Take necessary action whenever the fire alarm is activated.
• Keep proper and updated records/entries in relevant security logs and records.
• Ensure smooth flow of traffic in the Hotel's car park, frontage and its vicinity.

Job Requirements

• Relevant experience in hospitality industry will be an added advantage
• PLRD licensed
• Analytical, tactful and independent
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willing to work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays
