As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support kitchen staff in preparing and organizing food, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring kitchen operations run smoothly. Your tasks will include washing dishes, cleaning kitchen surfaces, and assisting with food preparation by chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients. You will help store ingredients and supplies, ensuring proper labeling and stock rotation, and may assist with basic cooking tasks under supervision. You will also help with kitchen inventory, ensure proper food safety and hygiene standards are maintained, and assist chefs and other kitchen staff with general kitchen duties as needed.

Job Requirements

To succeed as a Kitchen Assistant, you should have basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices. Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required. 1) Lead Management:

a. Sales enquires (through cold call, meeting, networking, and other channel):

i) Start tracking every lead receives and follows up

ii) Ensure sales are closed

iii) Submit the report to management on lost sales (template will be provided)

iv) Basic analysis of leads collected and closed

b. Complaint handling:

i) Helping stores to reply after carrying out an investigation

ii) Generate a complaint form for tracking and identify the root cause

iii) Able clients facing and to handle difficult clients

iv) Able to communicate with external parties – CASE Association

2) Conduct monthly online contests:

i) Assist and pack the goodie bags when required

ii) Follow up with participants for prize collection

iii) Ensure the prize/ voucher forms are documented & filed

3) Post monthly promotional posts online:

i) Additionally, support additional posts when requested

ii) Occasionally, needs to help to shortlist products/services to be featured on social platform

4) Handle and retain existing customers and manage the account related activities

5) Provide accurate and timely information to Management

6) Other tasks eg. tradeshow, supplier events may be assigned as necessary according to organizational needs

7) Ad-hoc tasks assigned by management

About the Role

• You will be responsible for the leading a team of Engineers and Technicians to ensure smooth operation of the facilities on day-to-day operations. You will be actively participating in new project tenders, setting up and operationalizing a team to deliver the contractual services to clients.

• You will be involved in Lifecycle projects, A&A works and other projects assigned.

• You will be assigned to other Business units/sites when required.

Job Scope

• Manage assigned Site and Business Units.

• Managing the Hard and Soft FM operations daily

About You

• Degree or Diploma in Building/Facilities Management or Engineering from a recognised university or polytechnic or equivalent.
