RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the execution of learning administration processes.
• Co-ordinate logistics and arranging resources essential for various activities.
• Ensure the upkeep of training facilities and equipment.
• Supervise and manage Student Assistants (SAs) for course support.
• Provide administrative support, communicating with participants, and handling stakeholder management.
• Facilitate seamless operations of Academy courses through logistical and administrative support.
• Lead and manage a team of course support staff and student assistants.
• Manage both face-to-face and online courses, ensuring their effective administration.
• Occasionally required to work on weekday evenings or weekends; compensated with flexible time-off or off-days.

• Degree or Diploma holder with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Service-oriented mindset with keen attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
• Proactive interest in optimizing processes for increased efficiency.
• Preferred experience in training, administration, or course co-ordination.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement marketing strategies and ensure marketing goals are met
• Monitoring and tracking marketing budgets, including expenditures, return-on-investment
• Administering and maintaining company’s website
• To deliver weekly and monthly reports – Analyze reports to determine the efficacy of campaign
• Planning and monitoring the ongoing company presence on social media (Facebook, LinkedIn and etc)
• Optimise all assigned campaigns in the form of Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager campaigns
• Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.)
• Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)
• Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels
• Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website
• Maintain partnerships with media agencies and vendors

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Communication / Marketing / Business or equivalent
• 2-3 year working experience is an advantage but not a must
• Preferred knowledge or skills: Search Engine Marketing, Social Media Paid Advertising and CRM System
• Experience with B2C social media, Google Adwords and email campaigns and SEO/SEM
• Familiar and fluent with marketing tools including Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.
• Good knowledge of web creation tools/platform (e.g. Adobe Suite, WordPress, Umbraco, HTML etc.)
• Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
• Skills and experience in creative content writing
• Analytical mindset and critical thinking

• To perform weekly and daily ordering of ingredients for individual sections.
• Supervise all bakery activities to ensure dishes are prepared in accordance to the established recipes.
• Prepare mise-en-place/ingredients and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Ensure the highest standard of cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
• Train new employees in order to ensure consistency in food presentation, taste and texture.
• Appraise the performance of the subordinate and make recommendations for promotions or other actions.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years working pastry experiences in F&B industry
• Certificate/Diploma in Food and Beverage / Hospitality Management
• Possess WSQ Hygiene Certificate is an advantage
• Able to do shift work, including weekends and public holidays
• Good organizing skills and able to communicate well.
• Work well with others and when under pressure
• Attention to detail and ability to identify and solve problems.
• Fluent in Japanese language as need to liase with Japan Franchisor

JOB SUMMARY

Accountable for overall success of the daily pastry operations. Exhibits creative baking and decorating talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff in preparing quality and consistent pastries for all areas. Works to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Supervises all pastry areas to ensure a consistent, high quality product is produced. Responsible for guiding and developing staff including direct reports. Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved. Areas of responsibility comprise overseeing all pastry food preparation areas.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area; or
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years of experience as Executive Pastry Chef / Pastry Chef in the hotel industry.
