Job Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable
• Closing and preparing for full set accounts
• Regulate all purchases by the company
• Verify invoices and process payment
• Verify and update petty cash reports into the accounting system
• Prepare accounts schedules
• Monitor and record payments for agent commissions
• Execute the workplans of the department to realise the department and college objectives
• To comply with the relevant EduTrust policies, procedures and documentation
• Other duties as assigned by Head of Department

Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years of accounting experience in full set preferred
• Meticulous and with an eye for details
• Ability to work independently
• Able to work with deadlines and under pressure
• Knowledge of Journals, MYOB preferred

Job Description

· Matters related to donations, e.g. obtain information from donors / team members, data entry of donor particulars, and issuance of tax deduction receipts / thank you letters to donors.

· Matters related to grants / project funding applications and monitoring, e.g. monitoring of usage and balance, regular updates and providing information to team members and donors.

· Matters related to bank accounts, e.g. reconciliation of bank statements, monitor of cash flow and movements, change of bank signatories.

· Matters related to Board and regulators, e.g. collecting signatures for Board resolutions, updating of Charity Portal, etc.

· Maintain proper filing of finance and admin records e.g. stock of groceries / vouchers and donations to facilitate year-end audit process. Assist with internal and external audits.

· Provide secretarial support for general corporate admin work such as applications for staff training, centre equipment, and other paperwork processes.

· Regularly review SOPs, work processes and templates, software and equipment, to ensure that they remain relevant and optimised to achieve the desired outcomes for the team and organisation.

· Guide and manage the Finance team members and outsource vendors.

· Other duties as assigned by the CEO.

Pre-Requisites and Personal Attributes

· Organised, detail-oriented, thorough, and meticulous.

· Able to work both in a team environment and independently, coordinate and liaise with multiple parties, ranging from individuals to large organisations.

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet timelines.

· Self-motivated and goal-orientated.

Qualifications

· Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related business discipline.

· Professional qualification in CPA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.

Experience

· Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting and finance roles with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.

· Experience in overseeing statutory audits, compliance reporting and working with both auditors.

· Prior experience in non-profit organisations, grant management and financial system implementation preferred but not a must.

Key Competencies

· Ability to prepare detailed and accurate financial statements, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring timely reporting.

· Familiar with Charities Accounting Standards.

- Responsible for Material and sample despatches and Monitoring inventory control, & shipments of Asia Pacific and Singapore

- To attend all office related Inquiries

- Customer Service/Market Survey/Research

-Trading activity

-Update and preparation of the Monthly Sales target, achievement reports, petty cash, travel reports, exhibition related reports etc.

-Maintenance of Files – and Creating of All new files

- Posts and Mailing

-Payment followups

-Handling of all miscellaneous tasks, trade show arrangements, meeting minutes, etc and Special assignments as may be necessary to further the business of the company

1. Attend to clients' requests / enqueries.
2. Conduct site assessment / survey.
3. Prepare work quotations.
4. Prepare risk assessments, pre-condition reports, job completion reports and other necessary documents as required.
5. Manage work schedules.
6. Conduct briefings, when required.
7. Conduct site visits.
8. Supervise works.
9. Manage billings, operating cost and invoices.
