RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for prospecting, promotion and sales of the company's suite of products and services.
• Liaise with and develop relationship with strategic accounts.
• Leads and customer information entry into our Sales system.
• Provide Channel & Product sales support.
• Work closely with vendor to manage service renewals and providing weekly pipeline updates.
• Following up on sales and renewal enquiries actively till closure.
• Work closely with team members to facilitate calls, manage work flow, and minimize hold times throughout the sales process.
• Assist with providing necessary information to procurement team for order processing.
• Liaising with the logistics department to ensure the timely delivery of ordered products.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Business Administration/ IT or related discipline. Applicants without this educational qualification may still apply but they must have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Sales Administration and Telemarketing necessary.
• Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team and perform under pressure.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Quality Control

• Product Inspections: Conduct and oversee routine inspections and sampling of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet the company's and customer-agreed quality specifications. Address deviations or non-conformities, report findings and recommend corrective action plan.
• Testing and Monitoring: Coordinate and monitor chemical, microbiological, and physical testing of products and materials. Ensure all test results comply with product specifications.
• Production Monitoring: Collaborate closely with the production team to monitor quality control at various stages of production. Implement corrective and preventive measures to address process deviations or defects.
• Customer Complaints: Investigate customer complaints related to product quality or safety. Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.

Quality Assurance

• Policy and Procedure Implementation: Enforce QA policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality control measures to ensure compliance with standards.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company complies with all relevant food safety regulations and certifications.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all quality-related activities, internal audits, external inspections, test results, and corrective actions. Ensure proper document control for QA/QC records.
• Training: Conduct and facilitate training sessions on food safety, good manufacturing practices (GMP), HACCP, and other quality-related topics for production, QA, and QC staff.

Process Improvement

• Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the QA/QC processes. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and safety, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze quality data and trends to identify patterns of defects or issues. Generate reports on key quality performance indicators (KPIs) through Statistical Process Control.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the QA/QC team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a quality-focused culture.
• Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with production, R&D, procurement, and logistics to ensure a cohesive approach to product quality and safety. Provide input into new product development and specification setting.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Purchaser to join our team. The Senior Purchaser will play a pivotal role in managing our company's procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of supply chain management, and a proven track record of optimizing purchasing strategies to drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and budgetary constraints.
2. Identify reliable suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts, and maintain beneficial relationships to secure favorable terms and pricing.
3. Monitor market trends and supplier performance to anticipate potential disruptions and proactively mitigate risks.
4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including department heads and project managers, to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
5. Conduct thorough vendor evaluations and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and ethical business practices.
6. Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment of orders.
7. Analyze purchasing data and metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
8. Lead cross-functional teams in implementing procurement best practices and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications :

1. Higher Nitec/Diploma/Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
2. Proven experience as a purchasing manager or senior procurement specialist, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of procurement principles, contract negotiation techniques, and vendor management best practices.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
6. Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems; experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms is desirable.

HR FUNCTIONS

• Assist the HR & Admin Manager in handling full spectrum of HR functions - recruitment, selection & employment, all Work Pass matters.
• Responsible for the full payroll functions in consultation with HR & Admin Manager
• Maintain, upkeep and ensured timely and accurate updates of HR database, all employee personal files and records are complete and treated in the strictest confidence
• Assist the HR & Admin Manager in reviewing training plans and career development for staff.
• Responsible to manage and update Time Attendance for payroll processing
• Manage and Liaise with Dormitory Operators for Dorm Check in/out, and other matters
• Assist the HR & Admin Manager in handling company insurance claims and reviews (Group Medical, Workmen Injury Compensation, Vehicle Insurance)
• Prepare submissions to government agencies, such as IRAS, NS claims, Government Paid leave claims and etc
• Conduct and complete market surveys from MOM, IRAS, CPF, WDA and various HR related surveys.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management.

ADMIN FUNCTIONS

• Lead HR Admin team, manage and improve the workflow to give strong support to operations and finance department
• Assist the HR & Admin Manager with vendor management and government grant applications
• Acquire and maintain office furnishing, equipment, and supplies eg. Stationery, photocopiers
• Maintain company assets such as desktops and laptops with help from IT outsourcing vendors
• Ensure that the office and pantry is well-maintained, organized and secure.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

• At least 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably in the Construction Industry.
• Candidates with more years of experience will be considered for the Senior executive role
• Candidates with minimum GCE O level plus Certificate in Human Resource Management & above will have an advantage
• Well versed and knowledgeable in WPOL and EPOL applications and processes
• Familiar with HRIS & Payroll systems, preferably CuteOffice
• Good knowledge of employment laws and regulations
• Good communication and organization skills
