Our client is a Global Transportation MNC. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Freight Forwarding Executive, Project (FPSO) to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the Central.

Job Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site logistics and shipping support at the client’s location.
• Plan and manage shipment schedules based on material expediting reports.
• Coordinate with suppliers for cargo collection and identify appropriate sailings.
• Liaise with overseas offices for freight matter (e.g. rates, bookings, tracking shipment updates, etc).
• Obtain competitive freight rates from carriers and handle bookings with them.
• Handle import/export permits for customs clearance.
• Track shipment status daily and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Prepare and issue quotations and invoices promptly.
• Collaborate with local and international team for tender preparations.
• Compile project costs, shipment P&L, and generate monthly reports.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Min Diploma in logistics / supply chain studies or equivalent
• Min 3 years’ relevant working experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office would be advantages.

Job Scope

Role Description of Accounts Executive:

• Generate and issue sales invoices on a daily basis.
• Maintain a daily log for invoices and payments.
