RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Volunteers and Corporate Partner Management
1.1. Administer Volunteer Resource Management (VRM) operations and coordinate activities and functions related to Peacehaven Day Centres' VRM programmes, procedures, policies and volunteers partnership agreements.
1.2. Recruitment of volunteers including educating volunteers on the philosophy of Peacehaven and the needs of the residents/clients
1.3. Screening of volunteers and programmes including matching of volunteers with the needs of residents/clients and the requests of staff
1.4. Implementation of programmes including liaising with Nursing, Therapy and Social work departments
1.5. Maintaining and submitting of statistics according to procedures of The Salvation Army or Agency for Integrative Care (AIC) requirements.
1.6. Maintaining and managing of volunteers database
1.7. Recognition of contributions of regular volunteers
1.8. Attending community volunteers network meetings and events
1.9. Providing management and staff with feedback from volunteers
1.10. Assist with developing and executing a volunteers' program.
1.11. Conduct outreach to grow corporate partnerships. Manage corporate partners including organizing CSR initiatives and recruiting volunteers from corporate partners.
2. Corporate Communication
2.1. Provide reports, write-ups and photographs for newsletters of The Salvation Army, AIC and other relevant government agencies
2.2. Document events and archive photos for Peacehaven History Book including liaising with Territorial Headquarters Archives Department
2.3. Attend to feedback from visitors and members of the public
3. Curate Active Ageing Programmes
3.1. Work with individuals, corporate, religious groups and student bodies to organize active ageing programmes for the seniors
3.2. Work with individuals, providers, vendors providing the programmes to furnish as much details as possible including but not limited to programme curriculum, duration, cost and other related details
3.3. Ensure details of activities are explicit as far as possible so that participants are made aware of the commitment and cost if any, to the best of your ability
4. Provide Support to residents of Allocated Boundaries
4.1. Identify possible seniors who may display signs of mental health issues via home visits, public events like screenings and roadshows and other available avenues
4.2. Match seniors to befrienders to assist with follow up with the seniors and to feedback any concerns to the centre that the seniors might have
4.3. Escalate seniors to the appropriate team member if/when the seniors requires more professional intervention
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma/Degree in any discipline.
- Passion for the elderly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours
Under normal circumstances the hours of duty will be as follows:
- 8.30am to 5.45pm (Monday to Friday, 45 minutes lunch break)
- 2 days per week
