Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts
• Responsible for month end closing process including preparation of journals, bank reconciliation, balance sheet schedules and performing GL review
• Prepare monthly management reports, schedules, and other analysis reports
• Ensure timely reporting of month and year end reports.
• Review and file quarterly GST returns to IRAS
• Maintain Fixed Assets Register
• Assist to liaise with external auditors and preparation of draft audited accounts
• Ensure compliance with accounting, auditing, and ethical standard
• Improve on current processes, procedure and internal controls as required
• Support the implementation of new processes and systems
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
• Preferably 2 years of relevant experience in handling a full set of accounts
• Proficient in Excel
• Familiar with GST rules
• Prior experience in accounting software, Xero will be an advantage
• Prior experience in audit will be an advantage
• Prior experience in Oil trading or Shipping will be an advantage
• Meticulous, self-motivated, and positive attitude
• Possess strong problem-solving skills
• Good team player and able to work independently
• Able to work under timeline pressure

Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Senior Operations Executive/ Assistant Manager (Claim) to be part of their Operations team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Central Area - easily accessible.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Identify and handle potential claims from customers and partners
• Work closely with the insurance team to manage and process claim files
• Respond to customer and third-party claim notifications
• Lead and guide in managing incidents related to claims across different business units
• Verify liability based on standard operating procedures and agreements
• Collaborate with teams to minimize losses and propose cost recovery solutions
• Manage claim-related documents like LOIs, liability letters, and invoices
• Follow up on ongoing claim cases with different teams and partners
• Provide regular updates on open claims to the insurance team and management
• Support the Operations Manager in meeting KPI targets and improving efficiency
• Any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in related field
• At least 2 years of experience handling ISO Tanks

• Creating EDMs and any creative material required by the team for sessions such as (training, focus group discussion, etc)
• Craft messages that drive responses and encourage participation in events organised by the Engagement Team
• Gathering, processing and reviewing a variety of data records
• Managing events including the publicity, invitations, logistics, registrations, note taking as needed for various types of engagement events
• Assist in logistics for programmes, e.g. making calls, sending reminders, arranging for food and beverages, venue, transportation, etc.
• Support in liaising with vendors when required
• Providing administrative support – filing, maintaining records of payment, approvals, claims, etc
• Draft specifications for evaluation and contract management
