Older adults often experience cognitive aging and decline, including reduced memory, processing speed, and attention, which can negatively impact their quality of life and independence (Lustig et al., 2009). These deficits in executive functioning are a result of structural and functional brain changes that results in the brain becoming less efficient in supporting attentional demands to day-to-day activities (Cox & Deary, 2022). A key theory in cognitive aging is that older adults experience greater cognitive load (Cognitive Load Theory, CLT) during task performance compared to younger adults that is due to inefficient neural processing (Prince et al., 2024; Sweller, 1988). Cognitive load theory posits that the brain has finite working memory capacity to attend to cognitive tasks, and an overload of information will result in a deficit in learning or allocation of attentional resources to deal with cognitive task (Sweller & Chandler, 2009). Thus, as the brain ages and becomes more inefficient in processing and allocating attentional resources to deal with complex tasks, the likelihood of successful task performance, particularly in situations with time pressures, is negative affected. This project will address the following research questions:

1. What is the relationship between cognitive load, neural activity, and vascular response in young versus older adults during simple and complex cognitive task performance?

2. Can non-invasive brain stimulation modulate the neural and vascular responses to cognitive load, and improve cognitive performance in older adults?

• As part of the mobile team, reports to the Salvage Master/Project Manager at site.
• When at base, assisting the technical manager and the operations manager to set up the right maintenance procedures and carry out the planned maintenance system of our equipment.
• Sharing knowledge with other engineers about complex ship's systems and maintenance solutions.
• Advising the salvage inspector and superintendent about how to break into existing ship's systems in order to use them during the salvage operation.

• To prepare and adhere to the annual budget.
• Liaise closely with designers, contractors and vendors to ensure on-time delivery of project within budget and with good quality
• Ensure all plans/documents to landlords/local authorities are approved prior to commencement of work
• Manage the day-to-day progress of works on site and resolve all contractor/vendor and building facility management coordination issues
• Attend regular site meetings and inspections
• Report on project status and take appropriate actions to ensure project progress is on schedule
• Monitor quality and contractor/vendor performance through supervision, regular inspection and snagging
• Ensure work performed on-site comply with the local authority requirements
• Enforce site safety procedures, identify and manage risks arising from the workplace or work process
• Conduct final verification and quality audit for all completed contractor/vendor’s work
• Conduct and complete progressive final snagging and defects clearance
• Work closely with Ops Team on timely projects handover
• Management of post construction issues with Ops Team, consultants, contractors, vendors and relevant authorities and ensure timely rectification
• To assist in the development and management of strategic plans and program initiatives to meet the goals and needs of the Company.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• NTC / Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Architecture, process engineering or related disciplines
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the food industrial sector, (e.g.foodcourt and coffeeshop project and reinstatement works)
• Proven record in managing and leading a Project/Maintenance Team

Job Summary:

The candidate will be performing lab experiments on variable water chemistries, analyze water quality parameters and run membrane reverse osmosis skids to evaluate membrane performance. The job will also require evaluation and characterization of chemical recipes, and performance validation via a set of lab standard protocols (preliminary on-the-job training will be provided).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Design of experiment:

• Evaluate the efficacy of developed formulations/products for various scales following lab protocols.
• Plan antiscalant experiments using membrane flow-cell (with synthetic and real process water solutions).

2. Performing the experiment:

• Carry out the experiment with good lab practices and housekeeping.
• Troubleshoot experimental failures, identify and propose solutions to overcome the failures.

3. Data Analysis:

• Identify patterns and/or correlations from the experimental data.
• Analyze the data and provide recommendations for improvements.

Skills/Experience/Education Required:

• Technical background, diploma/degree in Chemistry/Chemistry Engineering/Environmental Engineering
• Experience in water chemistry or water testing would be a plus.

• Accountable for all financial and management reporting requirements of a portfolio of entities

• Supervise a team of co-workers to achieve financial excellence, including the following:

1) timely and accurate monthly reporting and submission of financial results;

2) transactions are properly accounted for in accordance with the relevant statutory regulations, accounting standards, and group policies;

3) proper cost allocation for respective projects;

4) reconciliations of intercompany balances/transactions and key accounts are performed and reviewed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or other professional accounting qualifications

• Chartered Accountant will be an advantage

Job Responsiblities:

• Responsible for the preparation and processing of the full spectrum of biweekly payroll.
• Create and maintain employee records in the payroll system and ensure that changes are entered correctly and updated on a timely basis.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of approvals.
• Assist in generating files for CPF submission.
• Generate reports including overtime, provision bonus as and when required.
• Attend to queries from employees regarding all payroll matters.
• Prepare annual IR8A and tax clearance and submit to IRAS.
