We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant Intern to join our team. You will have the opportunity to be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established financial procedures. The successful candidate should possess high levels of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries.
• Preparing statutory accounts.
• Ensuring payments, amounts, and records are correct
• Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers, and journals
• Recording and filing cash transactions.
• Controlling credit and chasing debt.
• Invoice processing and filing
• Processing expense requests for the accountant to approve.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Liaising with third-party providers, clients, and suppliers
• Updating and maintaining procedural documentation

Job Specifications

• The candidate must possess at least a diploma in accounting or a diploma in business administration.
• Required language(s): English
• Able to work independently and as a team;
• Be able to meet deadlines;
• Have good interpersonal and analytical skills, and
• Have strong work ethics
• Must be able to commit 4 months

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of sales agreements, invoices, billings, and documentation for sales and financing transactions
• Support sales and accounting departments to ensure successful sales and financing transactions
• Update administrative data in systems and maintain records of such data, including general record keeping and filing duties
• Manage bank book through recording financial inflows and outflows for bank reconciliation and daily reporting and forecasting for payments and deductions
• Provide internal stakeholders with necessary administrative support and undertake any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Skill Requirements

• Proficient in MS Office and computerized accounting systems
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skill

Other Requirements

• Meticulous and able to multi-task
• Team player with positive work attitude
• Singaporean, prior experience in the automotive industry will be an added advantage

Estimated Salary: $2000 to $2800

• Assist in daily operations
• Ensure all assigned duties are carried out, and that resources are efficiently utilized.
• Prepare quotations, service agreements and tenders.
• Conduct site visits and advise on manpower requirements and costing for jobs.
• Tracking/Ordering consumables and supplies.
• Manage equipment and supplies inventory and replenishment as and when necessary.
• Manage and review staff daily attendance and performance.
• Assist in planing and implementing work schedule and manage manpower deployment or arrange for replacement of staffs when necessary.
