Scope of Work
1. Research Grant Administration
· Provides effective administration of research grant call applications and management of awarded grants
· Assumes the role as SAP Concur reviewer and first-level approver and work with the Finance department to provide the fastest and smoothest approver flow.
2. Communication of Research Information
· Creates weekly research e-newsletter to communicate information on internal and external grant calls to faculty and research staff members.
· Develops content for the school’s website for research grants, projects and achievements.
· Develops Research-related publications (Research Brochures /Pamphlets)
· Assists with the organisation of the monthly WKWSCI Speaker Series (Research Talks).
3. Monitoring Research Budgets and Assets
· Monitor budgets and expenditures relating to research grants
· Monitor deadlines for the submission of expenditure reports as well as progress and final report
Requirements
· Bachelor's Degree
· Proven administrative skills including the ability to handle data with accuracy.
· Excellent reporting with some finance working knowledge would be essential.
· Preferably 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience. Prior working experience in an academic institution will be an advantage.
· Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
· Ability to do content management and creation of information on research (Website, social media and newsletters)
