The Role

The Warehouse Assistant works in the Distribution Centre, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor and will be responsible for all quality and productivity of his/her own work including but not limited to below activities. He/she will be responsible to ensure all assigned work is completed in the same day.

Your profile

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below criteria:

• Minimum High School Diploma
• Previous customer service experience preferred

To ensure guests would feel safe and secure in our hotel, appropriate security levels necessary. As Assistant Security Manager, you’ll be implementing safety and security policies in accordance with IHG standards – emphasizing to remain alert at all times to team members. By allowing guests to feel safe, it would encourage repeat visits. You will assist in the security operations and ensure there are enough coverage from Security Team to manage activities in the hotel.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Report to Manager all hotel property deficiencies and safety or security hazards

Food Assembly Assistant reports to Catering Supervisor (Pre-set) through the Catering Officer and his/her duties are as follow:

1. Preset Business, Premium Economy and Economy class meals on trays according to airline's specifications.

2. Collect all the required food items for preset.

3. Collect bins of clean airline equipment from equipment staging area.

4. Operate the assembly conveyor belts and put the required food items and service wares on the trays based on the ETD of the flights.

5. Refer to flight checkout sheet, photo specs, and special meals table during preset.

6. Label carts according to Equipment Loading Plan.

7. Inform the Foodbank OA to page for any items shortages.

8. Collect all balance preset items and return them to Foodbank and TA Sub-store.

9. Ensure that the conveyor belt and the surrounding work area are neat and tidy before leaving the work place.

10. Follow safety and health procedures at workplace;

o Not endanger yourself and your colleagues;

o Not tamper with safety devices, or perform wilful or reckless acts;

• Handling multiple food orders at one time
• Assisting other cooks in preparing food or helping team members when needed
• Prepare various ingredients as require by the menu
• Ensure uniformity and standardization in cutting to provide well prepared materials for the cooking process

Requirements

• At least 1 year experience in F&B
• Works well under pressure
• Possess a good working attitude
• Able to work on rotating shift, including weekends and public holidays (4 days off a month)
• Previous experience as a cook or relevvant work experience in kitchen/food stall
• Experience in noodles/Chinese fast food preferred

Main Responsibilities:

• Acknowledge Purchase Orders (PO) from suppliers and clients.

• Manage invoices and follow up on deliveries.
• Coordinate with forwarders and logistics.
• Oversee cleaning services and facility management.
• Coordinate with building management and contractors.
• Arrange travel and accommodation, including flights.
• Manage inventory items, including tracking items in and out.
• Assist in creating PowerPoint presentations as needed.
• Coordination and support with after sales service department from HQ
• It's a 50% time part-job.

• Proven experience working as an assistant.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Good command of the English language.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Uphold the confidentiality, integrity, quality, technical, health and safety aspects of the company.
• Perform routine testing on incoming samples within stipulated holding time, requirement and protocol applicable to requested test
• Participate and pass any required proficiency test and interlaboratory analysis
• Assist in reviewing SOPs, should there be any updates
• Preparation of general laboratory work like media and perform housekeeping to maintain the cleanliness of the laboratory, equipment and apparatus
• Maintenance of small equipment such as balance & pH meter to ensure optimum performance
• Perform all required and tasked internal QC duties
• Convey difficulties and problems to the next level of hierarchy (Microbiologists or Senior Microbiologists)
• Extra tasks and jobs as required by Senior Microbiologists and/or Lab Manager
