The Assistant Technical Services Manager will oversee the day-to-day technical and maintenance aspects of a park, ensuring the safety and optimal functioning of rides and facilities. Additionally, you will be responsible for any planning and managing of projects pertaining to technical and facilities aspects.

Job Description

• Direct and inspire a multidisciplinary technical team to ensure optimal performance of park equipment and systems
• Develop and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and enhance asset longevity
• Oversee inspections, repairs and inventory management to maintain operational readiness
• Ensure full compliance with all safety regulations, industry standards and environmental sustainability practices
• Collaborate with contractors, vendors and regulatory authorities to manage projects, inspections and approvals with precision
• Monitor emerging industry advancements, integrating innovative technologies to elevate operational efficiency

Qualifications and Other Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/ Diploma in Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical services, construction, or maintenance with significant experience in the design, specification, implementation, testing, and commissioning of industrial systems
• Leadership experience in managing technical operations within dynamic and complex environments
• Expertise in regulatory compliance, project management and the implementation of robust safety protocols
• Proficiency in organisational planning, analytical reasoning and complex problem-solving
• Good communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present to senior stakeholders and effectively address inquiries from contractors and clients
• Comprehensive knowledge of workplace safety and health practices.
• Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at an intermediate level or higher
• Strong aptitude for guest service and hospitality is considered advantageous
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines, think on spot and work in a fast-paced environment

Roles & Responsibilities

- Data entry of all invoices/receipts into accounting system

- Work closely with outlets to ensure daily invoices and documents are submitted timely

- Maintain proper and up-to-date filing of documents

- Record and apply outgoing and incoming payments accurately into systems

- any ad-hoc duties as assigned

• Assist the HR team in the process of hiring workers
• Apply work permits for foreign workers (application, renewal, cancellation).
• Perform orientation for newly hired workers and maintain workers' records.
• Process of payroll for workers and submit tax clearance form IR21.

Requirements:

• Nitec and above
• At least 1 year of HR support experience.
• Familiar of any payroll software.
