The incumbent will be required to:

Primary Function

• Handle guest telephone and email inquiries and improve guest experience score.
• Offer appropriate room types and price inclusions, upsell, and handle price objections.

• Monitor the reservation process and ensure accurate room type, market codes, source codes, and rate codes.
• Communicate all current rates, packages and promotions to the front office.
• Ensure block allotments are loaded and released on time.
• Manage “no show” reservations and ensure accurate charging.

Finance Management

• Process deposit, posting charges, and noting billing instructions in the hotel system.
• Ensure accurate payment is routed accurately to company accounts.
• Ensure package elements are accurately allocated.
• Ensure accurate information is communicated to guests, e.g. payment, guarantee, cancellation, and no-show policy.
• Ensure all commissions payable are accurate and submitted to finance timely.

Responsibilities:

The Role:

Moving Services Assistant

This role reports to the Supervisor/Moving Services. The Moving Services Assistant will collect and dispatch customers’ goods/items and ensures the safety of the items under his care.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensures that items are delivered in good condition to our customers promptly.
• Prepares and packs customers’ items to prevent damage during transit (include taking apart furniture, wrapping items in bubble wrap or stretch wrap, putting loose items in boxes and sealed bags, and using straps and cardboard sheets on large items).
• Loads and unloads customers’ items from their premises to the moving truck and places them in the desired location safely.
• Arranges items in the truck to fit the load and prevents objects from falling or getting damaged.
• Keeps track of customer’s items to ensure nothing gets lost in transit.
• Attends to customers’ questions and addresses requests on their preferences on the move.
• Maintains a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
• Performs daily checking on vehicle and reports any fault / problem discovered during checks before driving out to ensure road roadworthiness of vehicle.
• Ensures cleanliness of vehicle.
• Any other duties assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements:

• N/O level or NITEC in any field.
• Able to read, write and communicate in simple English.
• Team player with positive attitude and willing to learn.
• Physically demanding job, requires heavy lifting.

POSITION DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Overview

As a Operation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing lift and escalator installation and modernization projects from inception to completion.

Job Description:

1) Develop new business account for lift and escalator.

2) Prepare accurate cost estimates for lift and escalator quotations.

3) Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.

4) Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, timeline and resource allocation.

5) Conduct feasibility studies to assess project viability and potential risks.

6) Prepare accurate cost estimations for all the awarded projects.

7) Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to the approved budget.

8) Implement cost-saving measures without compromising on project quality and safety.

9) Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to enhance productivity and project efficiency.

10) Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards and safety protocols are met.

11) Identity potential risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize project disruptions.

12) Address any unforeseen issues that arise during the project promptly and efficiently.

13) Conduct safety inspections and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

14) Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports and project records.

15) Perform any other duties as required by the Management or designated personnel.

Requirements:

1) Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction management, or related field.

2) Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably with expertise in lift and escalator installations with minimum of 8 years.

3) Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling and resource management.

4) In-depth knowledge of lift and escalator systems, components and industry standards.

5) Familiarity with relevant building codes and safety regulations.

6) Proficient in project management and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) applications.

7) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

8) A team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.

9) Possession of a personal vehicle and Project Management Professional certification is a plus.
