Qualifications and Other Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/ Diploma in Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical services, construction, or maintenance with significant experience in the design, specification, implementation, testing, and commissioning of industrial systems
• Leadership experience in managing technical operations within dynamic and complex environments
• Expertise in regulatory compliance, project management and the implementation of robust safety protocols
• Proficiency in organisational planning, analytical reasoning and complex problem-solving
• Good communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present to senior stakeholders and effectively address inquiries from contractors and clients
• Comprehensive knowledge of workplace safety and health practices.
• Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at an intermediate level or higher
• Strong aptitude for guest service and hospitality is considered advantageous

Job Scope:

1. Receiving incoming stock
2. Delivering of duty free orders into departure gate hold rooms
3. Assisting to top up display stocks at the stores
4. Assisting in IShop Changi fulfilment in the picking and packing of orders
5. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Supervisors or Retail Managers

Responsibilities
1. Manage full sets of accounts and support day-to-day accounting operations.
2. Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to management.
3. Prepare and review closing journals for responsible entities.
4. Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements.
5. Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e. AP & AR process, GL, account
reconciliation, etc.)
6. Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support the Client’s financial activities.
7. Support forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines
8. Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate
secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required.
9. Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing
requirements, audits, procedures and forms both statutory and internal.
10. Assist in new processes and system implementation when required.
11. Prepare or review payments for staff claims and vendor invoices.
12. Prepare and check bank reconciliations and intercompany postings
13. Prepare monthly/ quarterly GST/ VAT reports for filing
14. Assist in annual budget process
15. Ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements
1. Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or an equivalent professional certification
2. At least 5 years of financial or accountant experience
3. Meticulous and able to meet deadlines
4. Proficiency with financial software, MS Office

Preferred but not a must:
1) Experience in Quickbooks
2) Experience in a Big 4 firm
3) Consolidation of accounts experience

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic research team. Our research focus is on understanding the functions of endomembrane contacts using fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe and on applying basic findings to studies of human fungal pathogens (C. albicans and C. aruis), aiming to develop strategies for disease prevention. The successful candidate will support maintaining lab infrastructure and research studies.

Requirements:

• MSc / BSc (Honors) in Biological Sciences or related fields
• Experience with protein work or lipid biology is an advantage
• Highly motivated and able to work independently
• Interested in science and willingness to pursue graduate study is preferred
