About The Job

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Innovation Programmes, the position works with the various Programme Managers (PMs) in meeting the centre’s objectives to advance the development, proliferation, and adoption of proven innovative learning solutions. The appointee will be part of the team to conduct evaluation of grant proposals to ascertain their innovation value and eligibility for funding support. We are looking to employ a personal assistant for the MD to support our company's growth plan.

Core Responsibilities:

• Liaise with work colleagues and follow up with them on updates and reports.
• Liaise with vendors, service provides, suppliers and customers.
• Prepare reports, presentations and memos.
• Research and make travel arrangements for staff.
• Perform Bank payment approval.
• Support Human Resource matters.
• Organise company events such as outings, management retreat, annual dinner, etc…
• Influence employees to encourage efficiency and company’s objective.
• Create a positive and conducive work environment.
• Any other tasks assigned by MD.

The ideal candidate should:

• 5 or more years of work experience in a similar role, with exposure in SME environment.
• Excellent spoken and written English with a strong interpersonal, communications and negotiation skills
• Trustworthy, maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with utmost discretion and professionalism.
• A valid class 3 driving license is an advantage.
• At least a Diploma holder.

Key Responsibilities:

• Upload e-invoices into the customer portal.

• Perform regular account reviews to identify overdue invoices.

• Send Statements of Account (SOA) to customers monthly after month-end closure.

• Monitor and follow up on payments with customers and sales representatives.

• Record incoming payments and update financial records accordingly.

• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.

• Prepare and submit regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports and collections forecasts to management.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Assist in yearly stock take.

• Handle HSA Product Registration on an as-needed basis.

• Coordinate with consultants to prepare documents for annual ISO audits.

• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirement:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with good interpersonal abilities.

• Possess a positive attitude and a proactive approach to tasks.

• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work within tight schedules.

• Meticulous with good analytical skills and sound accounting knowledge.

• Familiarity with Netiquette software is an advantage.

• Knowledge of HSA Product Registration & ISO is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and assist primary school students, ensuring their safety and engagement.
• Provide support to the lead instructor by preparing materials and managing classroom activities.
• Assist students with their assignments or projects related to Math, Science, and English subjects.
• Offer guidance and academic support to help students understand concepts and complete their tasks.
• Monitor students’ behavior and encourage a positive learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding students' progress, when required.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as attendance tracking, lesson preparation, and organizing resources.
• Ensure the learning space is clean and organized after lessons.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or completed a diploma/degree in Education, Psychology, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory).
• Passion for working with children, especially primary school students, and creating a fun, engaging learning environment.
• Knowledge of primary school-level Math, Science, and English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, proactive, and able to manage a group of students effectively.
• Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, or childcare is an advantage.
• Availability to work part-time on weekdays or weekends.
• Proficient in basic administrative tasks and familiar with common software (e.g., MS Office).
