Platform & Data Operations establishes the functional organization of FSDs platforms. By this we mean to establish the best choice of platforms to operate, which system best fits the operational needs to perform a specific business process. In order to do this, P&D Ops not just leads the choice of system, but also coordinates the changes in those systems with a network of vendors to ensure an orderly, quick, and effective delivery.

Additionally, P&D Ops maintains, operates, and mines for data some of those platforms and ensures smooth delivery of settlement services by the other operational units.

Reporting to the Manager, Billing and Reporting, the incumbent will be responsible for providing technical/system support to the day-to-day operations for the Billing & Settlement Plan (BSP), Cargo Accounts Settlement System (CASS) and the GDC team globally.

What your day would be like

• Provide timely and proactive technical support to the operations; handles daily requests regarding Data Processing Centre (DPC) files or production issues;
• Global scope of Level 3 support to Customer Service team and Internal stakeholders;
• Monitor the Reporting Tape (RET) file processing results and work towards the mitigation of errors in future submissions;
• Ensure the accurate administration of systems (BSPLink, IBSPs, CASSlink) and review database information, proactively carrying out data analysis and identifying gaps and inconsistencies;
• Perform activities related to the provision and configuration of services within the BSP and CASS, such as Monetary Calculation, Airline/Agent tax related configurations, maintain exchange rate, establish and administer commission control services for airlines in the corresponding markets;
• Manage system change request – gathering requirements from stakeholders, raise RFC, perform/coordinate testing;
• Identify requirements for system enhancements and proactively search for ways to increase productivity, automating processes or proposing new and more efficient procedures;
• Identify training needs for products and services and ensure the up-to-date training of the Customer Support staff;
• Support global project roll out.

• You have a university Degree in a relevant discipline;
• Minimum 5 years’ experience of working in the Airline Industry environment, as well as related experiences in the CASS/BSP activities or Cargo/Passenger Revenue Accounting;

The Group Marketplace team supports country teams in managing driver supply, pricing, marketplace strategy, product rollouts, and special projects. We often work with large datasets, deriving insights to create actionable solutions. There is minimal bureaucracy, allowing a quick turnaround from insights to decisions and execution.

Get to Know the Role

We are looking for a Manager, Deliveries Marketplace who will report into the Regional Head of Deliveries Marketplace. You will be based in an onsite at Grab Singapore office with minimal travel (5 - 10%). You will manage the Singapore Deliveries marketplace (GrabFood, GrabMart, and GrabExpress) and support regional special projects aimed at improving the economics and efficiency of our services.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

You will:

• Manage pricing strategies to drive revenue, growth, and cost optimisation for the Singapore Deliveries business.
• Design and iterate delivery-partner incentives to optimise acquisition and retention.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance delivery speed, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Manage fulfilment-related functions like batching and allocation to increase efficiency and service quality.
• Collaborate with product managers to influence product design and facilitate feature rollouts, focusing on configuration settings.
• Work with business unit leads to align business strategy with marketplace strategy.
• Analyse metrics to pinpoint areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• You have at least 4 years of experience creating pricing strategies in achieving goals.
• You can design and iterate delivery-partner incentives that improve acquisition and retention. You can develop strategies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• You are proficient in managing batching, allocation, and other fulfilment-related functions to improve service quality.
• You have experience working with product managers to influence product roll out new features.
• You can analyse metrics using tools such as SQL to identify improvement areas.
• You can collaborate with department leads to translate business strategy into marketplace strategy.
• You can perform complex functions in Excel/ Gsheets for maintaining complex spreadsheets.

Research Assistant for Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health

The Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health (SSHSPH) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is recruiting a full-time, experienced research assistant to model the impact and cost-effectiveness of contact-transmissible infectious diseases. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research, collaborate with a team of experts, and work on other infectious disease analyses.

Job scope:
• To undertake high-quality research, including contributing to drafting major grant proposals and/or leading in drafting small grant proposals;
• To develop and extend mathematical and economic models of contact-transmissible infectious diseases.
• To support ethics applications;
• To contribute to peer-reviewed publications and other outputs, including as lead author;
• To collaborate with modellers, economists, and epidemiologists at NUS and other institutions.
• Contribute to drafting grant proposals and co-authoring publications.
• To review the latest research on contact-transmissible infectious diseases regularly.
• To disseminate research findings through presentations at international conferences and meetings with key partners (e.g., WHO).
• To contribute to the broader research community through journal and grant reviews.
• To participate in mandatory NUS training and keep abreast of advancements in research methods.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Engineering, Economics, Pharmacy, Public Health, or Computer Science.
• Experience with quantitative research, preferably related to infectious disease modelling.
• Strong analytical and data management skills using electronic medical records, clinical trials, and observational data.
• Experience with statistical software (e.g., R) and programming languages (e.g., R, C/C++, Python).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational skills and time management.

The following knowledge and experience would be advantageous:
• Experience contributing to research grant applications.
• Experience with teaching and assessment (desirable but not essential).
• Experience with epidemiological modelling of infectious diseases (especially sexually transmitted diseases).
• Experience with data analysis using statistical inference techniques.
• Experience with health economic evaluations.
• Experience with parallel and/or high-performance computing.

The grade of appointment will be accorded based on candidate’s academic qualifications and years of relevant experience.
