You will assist the Assistant Director/Director to drive business development initiatives. You will play a key role in fostering partnerships and collaborations with corporates, insurance providers, healthcare and other strategic partners. You will build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and provide effective leadership and guidance to team members for their development and growth.
Corporate Partnership
· Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as healthcare providers, physician groups, insurance providers and corporates.
· Explore collaboration opportunities, expansion of service offerings to meet existing and new needs.
· Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that hospital meets partners’ expected service level and requirements (e.g. appointment booking turnaround time) including operationalizing workflows and processes that is customer and patient-centric.
Business Development
· Conduct market analysis to identify trends, business opportunities, new service lines.
· Partner with the various internal stakeholders/business units to understand their services and business needs, and devise appropriate strategies and execution plans to drive growth.
· Acquire understanding of the healthcare eco-system and key players, keep abreast of healthcare regulations and ensure compliance.
· Conduct price benchmarking and competitive analysis
· Oversee outreach channels and explore new initiatives to increase leads and expand partner base.
Strategic Partnership Development
· Cultivate and maintain relationships with key public healthcare institutions and other strategic partners.
· Work with stakeholders across cluster and divisions to draft and manage service level agreements and ensure agreements are renewed in a timely manner.
· Serves as a liaison and single point of contact for the hospital and external partners, facilitating communication, collaboration, and coordination of activities to achieve shared goals and objectives. This includes setting up meetings and discussions, as needed.
· Participate in negotiations with external partners to finalize partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
· Lead and facilitate resolution of conflicts or issues between internal and external stakeholders.
· Keep track and monitor progress of key projects under the various partnerships and provide Senior Management with regular updates.
General and Other Duties
· Devise appropriate metrics to track and measure effectiveness of initiatives and projects
· Collate data on a monthly basis to track outcomes for management reporting.
· Ensure department’s operational procedures and work instructions are reviewed periodically and implement improvements in work processes.
· Provide secretariat support for division/department/workgroup meetings including writing meeting minutes, where required, and following up on meeting action points.
· Participate in hospital’s emergency planning exercise and render support in hospital emergency or incidents when required.
· Assist to carry out any other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor Degree in any discipline although a related field like healthcare or business management will be an advantage
· At least 5 – 8 years of relevant experience in business development, partnerships, stakeholder engagement, preferably in hospital and healthcare related industries
· Some contract management experience is desirable
· Possess experience leading teams
· Strategic thinker, with strong business and commercial orientation
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
· Process-oriented and a flair for numbers
· Meticulous and analytical
· Possess good organisational, coordination and project management skills.
· Adaptable and resourceful with strong problem-solving ability
· Driven, passionate and service-oriented
· Ability to exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
