Join P'Serv project and establish close work relationship with our client, Statutory Board of Singapore. This role as a Recruitment Assistant coordindates and facilitate Recruitment Processes.

Scope of Work

• Assisting the Talent Acquisition team in posting of jobs at various job platforms
• Assisting to schedule for interview upon request by Talent Acquisition team or stakeholders
• Performing of initial case study / candidate assessment prior actual interview
• Using Workday system to manage and trigger / update recruitment processes
• Sending of calender invitation to block out dates to all parties involved in the interview process
• Sending of email invitation and confirmation to all parties involved in the interview process
• Sending reminder for any upcoming interviews to all parties involved in the interview process
• Conducting of HR Reference Checks for offered candidates
• Preparation of Offer of Letter for offered candidates
• Preparation of new comer pack / welcome pack for onboarding
• Generating of weekly report and monthly reports
• Other ad-hocs

Requirement

• Diploma in Human Resource
• Good proficiency skills in Microsoft, such as "Pivot Table", "VLOOKUP", "HLOOKUP
• Prior experience in Workday and Excelity software added advantage

What does it take to become a Civican?

Civica is looking for Library Assistants who are passionate about promoting good reading habits among students in Singapore.

A day in the life…

• Ensure efficient processing and circulation of resources to students and other library patrons.
• Shelve library materials and read shelves in accordance with recognized library standards i.e., DDC for school libraries
• Catalogue and process new materials promptly to have them ready for borrowing
• Creation of promotional materials and displays to support the school curriculum and library programmes
• Conduct library programmes and activities
• Generate regular reports on loans, overdue items, fines and other collection-related statistics
• Assist library patrons with queries
• Ensure good housekeeping in the library, including tidying the library and maintaining clear and accurate shelf signages to assist patrons in locating materials.
• Follow-up with students and staff on overdue, damaged and/or lost books
• Work with the stakeholders to manage damaged and/or lost books. This includes withdrawing, repairing or reconditioning library materials.
• Stocktaking and weeding of library materials

• 4 GCE ‘O’ level passes, including English
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Enjoy interacting with students and teachers
• Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Open to learning to operate the Library System, with training provided
• Comfortable working independently
• Stooping, bending, lifting and reaching is required for the picking up and shelving of books.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle cross-trade shipments
• Handle air / sea freight bookings for shipments
• Liaise with forwarders/carriers for import and export shipments
• Process all necessary documents and invoicing for export shipments
• Update and filing all activities documents
• Provide administrative support to the shipping department.
