Responsibilities:

• Manages the warehouse and shipping & receiving functions.
• Maintains the accuracy of information in the Oracle Process module as well as the accuracy of the physical inventory.
• Sets the minimum/maximum in the Oracle system, including maximizing the inventory turnovers to prevent expiration of raw materials.
• Collaborate with key internal functions such as Operations Team, Business Support Team to provide excellence in supply chain visibility, responsiveness, cost effectiveness and on-time-in-full delivery to key stakeholders.
• Strategically planning and managing logistics, warehouse operations, transportation and customer services
• Responsible for the overall logistics of the facility including but not limited to inventory control, packaging, shipping and receiving – manage daily activity in these areas and work closely with Senior Logistics Administrator in the warehouse.
• To assist warehouse activities as and when required when incoming/outgoing shipment volume is high.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a logistic/warehousing roDiploma in related field of study such as Supply Chain or Logistics Management preferred.
• Oracle System knowledge preferable & Intermediate excel skills preferable.
• Capable of working independently, self-motivator with and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Computer knowledge Microsoft Power Point, Excel and Words
• Ability to work irregular hours and under pressure when required.

Job Description: Administrative Support Staff

Position Overview:Serangoon Garden Secondary School is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Administrative Support Staff. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the administrative functions of the school by providing efficient and effective office assistance.

Contract Details:

• Contract Period: From April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025.
• Option to Extend: The contract may be extended for an additional 12 months, from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, at the discretion of the Authority.

Working Hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 6:45 am to 3:45 pm (inclusive of 30 mins lunch break)
• Fridays: 6:45 am to 3:15 pm (inclusive of 30 mins lunch break)
• Off Days: Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays
• Total Hours: 42 hours per week

Scope of Services:The selected Personnel will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Manning the office counter and addressing enquiries.
• Calling absentees’ parents to inquire about reasons for absence.
• Performing simple clerical duties, including printing, checking, and sorting out FAS and bursary applications, and informing parents of outcomes/collection of approval letters.
• Printing and arranging timetables.
• Sorting out hardcopy mails to respective owners.
• Updating staff absence records in the General Office.
• Performing any other administrative duties as assigned by the school’s management staff.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:The ideal candidate should possess:

• Minimum O level or relevant experience in office/reception duties.
• Experience in working with schools will be advantageous.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in basic office software applications.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with school administrative processes is a plus.

Job Scope:

• Rigorous processing of financial assistance applications online including check supporting documents, calculate household Per Capita Income, contact applicants for follow ups, if necessary
• Support FA team with other administrative tasks including collation of form responses, contact students for donors interviews, mail merge for letters

Contract Commitment Period:

3 Apr (Wed) – 2 Jul (Tue) 2024 - 12 pax

17 Apr (Wed) – 16 Jul (Tue) 2024 - 4 pax
