The German European School Singapore (GESS) is looking for expressions of interest for Primary School Teaching Assistant position, with a tentative start date of 1 August 2025.

Responsabilities:

• Assist teaching in primary classrooms:
• Supervising and teaching small groups within a whole class or small group setting
• Helping to prepare lesson materials
• Filing and organising student work and resources
• Supervising students during lunchtimes and breaktimes
• Assisting lessons in art, physical education or other subjects, as needed

Requirements:

• Experience working with children aged 5 to 11
• Good English skills are required, as you will be interacting with English-speaking students
• Good German skills are required, as you will be communicating with German-speaking students
• Tertiary education qualifications are a plus
• Willingness and ability to learn and take direction
• Ability to adapt, organisational skills and a caring attitude

1. Receptionist Duties:

• Greet visitors, clients, and staff professionally and courteously.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate team members.

• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
• Handle general inquiries and provide information about the company.

2. Administrative Support:

• Assist with scheduling meetings, conference rooms, and appointments for staff.

• Support the organization of company events, meetings, and lunches.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or in a similar role.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

• Dividing - Understanding the characteristics of each dough and able to perform troubleshooting
