We are seeking a proactive and organized Delivery Fleet Planner cum Operations Assistant to support our operations team.

Responsibilities:

• Fleet Planning: Coordinate and plan the delivery routes for the fleet, ensuring optimal utilization of vehicles and timely delivery of goods.
• Schedule Management: Develop and maintain delivery schedules, monitor progress, and make adjustments as necessary to meet delivery deadlines.
• Inventory Coordination: Work closely with warehouse staff to manage inventory levels, prepare orders for dispatch, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Operational Support: Assist in day-to-day operations, including handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and managing delivery documentation.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze fleet performance metrics, such as delivery times, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
• Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Compliance: Ensure all fleet operations comply with local regulations and company policies, including safety standards and vehicle maintenance schedules.
• Problem Solving: Quickly address and resolve any issues that arise during the delivery process to minimize disruptions.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience in logistics, fleet management, or operations support is preferred but not required.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with team members and customers.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with logistics software, route planning tools, and standard office applications.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize fleet operations.
• Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
