The Assistant Hall Manager supports the Hall Manager/director in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service, customer satisfaction, and the effective supervision of staff. They also play a key role in maintaining service standards, managing staff schedules, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Support in managing daily opening and closing procedures.

2. Coordinate staff schedules, ensuring appropriate staffing levels during peak hours.

3. Handle guest complaints or concerns, escalating them to the Hall Manager/ Director when necessary.

4. Monitor food handling, hygiene, and cleanliness to prevent any violations.

1. Proficiency in operating the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions, print sales reports, and handle cash register balancing.

2. Ability to input availability, track employee hours, and adjust schedules in real-time based on operational needs.

The Asst ME Engineering Manager will adopt as its goals profitability, effectiveness, adaptability, responsiveness, quality, and the continuous improvement of products and services throughout their life cycles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Establish and clearly communicate all global, regional and site Manufacturing Engineering strategies to the ME Engineering team.

· Coach, mentor and train engineers with the Manufacturing Engineering team.

· Support recruitment and retainment of Manufacturing Engineering talent within the site.

· Report and drive improvement within the site through the monitoring of the key ME Engineering metrics.

· Develop and maintain the Manufacturing Engineering succession plan for the site.

· Insure the standardization of Jabil processes throughout the site in accordance with the global, regional and site direction.

· Standardize the configuration of the systems used (e.g. SAP, MES, IEDB).

Job Description

1. Safety in Food Labs

· Assist teachers with the general safety in the food lab i.e. clean up spills on the floor immediately to prevent slips and falls

· Assist teachers with simple first aid treaments such as cuts and burns

2. Receiving food order

· Receive food items ordered by teachers and check the food items against the delivery order

· Pack other food items with appropriate materials and put in the correct storage areas in the food lab

· Keep teachers informed if food items delivered are not in correct quantity or in unacceptable condition.

· Check for food expiry dates and inform teachers accordingly

3. Before and After Practical Lessons of FCE and NFS

· Wipe teachers’ working tables and demonstration table every morning before lessons.

· Clean and maintain the food lab equipment and room after lessons everyday

· Prepare food items and materials needed for practical lessons

· Wash linens that are used for lessons

· Dispose of kitchen refuse from the rubbish bin and lined the bin with trash bag in both labs after practical lessons.

4. Duties during school holidays and events

· Clean and maintain the lab inventory and equipment, report any defects to materials.

· Maintain equipment and utensils of workstations in both Food Laboratories during school holidays and special events stated below.
