The position is a part time (half day for 5 working days) basis with flexible working hours.

Location of Office is at Tradehub 21, 10mins walk from Jurong East MRT Station.

Responsibilities:

• Take an aggressive approach in proactively supporting all staff in the base location, collaborating with IT Organization to ensure that staff is operating effectively from an IT support standpoint
• Work closely with Service Desk to expedite technical problem resolutions, address users’ queries and follow-throughs
• Partner with Local IT Project Team in providing infrastructure service, new customer startups, internal project including technical investigation and documentation, testing and execution, etc.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Information Technology
• Preferably, IT-Certification in Microsoft Tools
• At least 1 year of technical knowledge on Microsoft Tools
• Customer service experience and Logistics Business Knowledge is an advantage
• Expected to perform any other tasks as deemed necessary by IT Team Leads

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Group System Administrator. The Group System Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining our global systems and our AWS infrastructure, ensuring system performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage global systems: Manage virtualization systems (VMware)
• Manage AWS Infrastructure: Set up, configure, and manage our global systems in AWS environments and services (IAM, VPC, Compute (EC2), Elastic Container Service, RDS (optional))
• Security Implementation: Implement security measures to protect our systems and data (deploy and maintain up to date Endpoint Security policy on systems and servers).
• Backup Operations: Perform regular backup operations and ensure successful data recovery.
• System Upgrades: Apply patches and upgrades regularly and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
• Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery strategies.
• Monitor System Performance: Continuously monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• System Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of all processes and systems.
• Cost Management: Estimate AWS usage costs and identify operational cost control mechanisms.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience: Proven experience as an AWS System Administrator or in a similar role.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Windows based systems and of AWS services.
• Knowledge and skills of Linux.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001/IT security management.
• Excellent document writing.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or similar certification.
