Cloud Database Administrator (AWS) – In this role, you will be responsible for monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise. The role involves backing up and restoring databases as needed, establishing and maintaining database security measures, and designing, developing, and implementing databases in AWS.

You Will:

• Manage and maintain AWS RDS cloud databases, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• Design and implement automated solutions for database provisioning, monitoring, and scaling using AWS native tools.
• Troubleshoot complex database issues and provide L2 support for operational databases.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and data governance policies within AWS environments.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of AWS database services such as Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, and related technologies.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

The L2 Database Administrator Engineer is responsible for:

• Daily health monitoring of production database system and data integrity checks

JD:

• Responsible for administration activities for database server and automate processes
